Her inner self, the angry vengeful her is scary; Dudu killing it showing us the two conflicting Chu Zhao. I’m glad she’s calming down a bit and going slowly instead of rushing like before

As much as I like them, it’s becoming rather annoying. They each want something but aren’t doing much to help out. Like what if Chu Zhao and Yan Lai failed? The borders would be breached and the enemies will get into the country, they’ll eventually reach them and then they might get killed 🙈

We were robbed in episode one where he avenged her, all we saw was her view of him and then her view fades away as she dies 😭 I hope they somehow include the scene later but I don’t see it happening unless he is somehow reborn too and just doesn’t show it nor tells her

The bell dropping scene in episode one is very nice. Non Dudu fans, did you guys know in English translation her fandom is called Little Bells 🔔? It makes that scene even better!! To me the bell dropping the first time was a sign of a bad omen, and then the second time it was her awakening to the truth

I recall a year or two ago there were talks of Youku and one other (forgot if it was Tencent or iQiYi?) reducing episodes down to nearly 16 episodes so I guess 24 is better than 16 but yeah, not enough to build a solid foundation of what they’re trying to get across to viewers
