Just finished the first episode and wow 😭 I enjoyed every second of it! The CGI is stunning ✨a total visual treat, and the world feels so beautifully crafted. Looks like Tang Lici is the main focus, and I love that it’s more plot-driven: friendship, soul-searching, and self-discovery rather than romance. Every character is a treat to the eyes too 😍 And of course, LYX looks absolutely breathtaking 😌these high-fantasy roles were made for him. ✨ 🍃
Happy belated birthday BJT! 🎉 This is my first time watching his drama, New Life Begins, and I have to say, he’s cute, and such a good actor! In certain angles, he even reminds me of my favorite, LYN. 💕
I started this drama to distract myself from Yummy Yummy? Yummy! spoilers (I’m waiting until it’s fully aired!) and also because I needed something lighter after Till the End of the Moon.
And wow! this drama is such a comfort watch! I’m only on episode 6, but I’m loving every minute of it so far. The friendships between the ladies are so heartwarming, and the male lead isn’t just a green flag.... he’s the whole Amazon rainforest! 😂 It’s so refreshing to see such a genuinely good male lead in dramaland. The female lead’s bubbly personality just lights up the screen.
So far, I’m absolutely loving it. It’s the kind of show that makes you smile without even realizing it. 💖
Fangs of Fortune has been stuck in my mind lately 😌 it looks really intriguing! 😍 Before I start though, I just want to know… does it have a happy ending? Or at least a decent one that’s worth my tears? 😂 I don’t mind crying as long as it feels worth it in the end. Would love to hear some honest (spoiler-free) thoughts from those who’ve finished it!
If you like the ml, you can watch Blossom after this. Very good but different
I haven't watch Blossom yet, so I can't really comment on the show a whole lot! But I recognize the female lead, she's the Wen sister from The Untamed. I'm sure she'll be fabulous too!
In a world of dramas where I’ve seen so many filled with revenge, fighting, swords, and endless scheming ⚔️ don’t get me wrong, I love those shows too.. but this one feels so refreshing! The Chen family is quirky, dorky, and genuinely loving toward each other. It’s heartwarming in a way that sneaks up on you and just makes your heart smile. The patriarch can be a little dense sometimes, but somehow it works, they balance each other perfectly. I’m completely hooked on the male lead, I’ve never seen him in any drama before, but he’s perfect for this role. That gentle gaze, that soft look… it just melts you. And the chemistry between him and the female lead is so adorable! I was first introduced to the female lead in When Destiny Brings the Demon. I’ve only watched about 10 episodes of that, but I started this one because the concept really intrigued me... and I’m so glad I did! I also think this show is going to have so many tender and heartwarming moments. From what I understand so far, it feels like the Chen family is here for a purpose, to heal each other, and especially to help Lin Yan. He seems like such a strong, gentle, lonely soul, and having the Chen family around is exactly what he needs. They fill that void in his life and help create something meaningful together. Every episode hits the perfect mix of funny, sweet, and touching moments. And the food… oh my gosh, it looks absolutely delicious, and there are even a few shady characters that add just the right touch of mystery to keep things interesting. I can’t wait for more episodes! 🍲❤️
I was super excited about this show until I realized that Ai Mi, the female lead, is only 17. She’s paired with a much older co-star, I'm uncomfortable, and I’m not sure I can get that fact out of my mind while watching. I just really hope they protect her and keep the romantic elements to a minimum. I saw her in The Double, and she has so much potential... I hope she gets more age-appropriate roles in the future.❤️
