How would she get paid without giving her real name tho? lol. She would have to accept payment and other stuff with the other woman's name, sign a contract with the other woman's name. I guess reality needs to be suspended... Or maybe the drama will make sense of it somehow.
started off kind of interesting but become super sappy and cliched. zzz watched the last 3 eps at x1.5 speed to finish it, lmao, and still it felt a bit unbearable to get through
End of ep 10 made me laugh. The stalker from "Iyashi no Otonari-san ni wa Himitsu ga aru" showed up! lmao. He's got a similar hairstyle to that drama (filming probably overlapped) and is also wearing a suit and I've never seen that actor in anything else besides Iyashi... it really felt like it was Nishina! xD
I liked it at the beginning but got bored in the last few eps. It's kinda cute, but personally I found Seishuu pretty spoiled and Naru annoying by the end, lol. Kawafuji was my favourite character, and Tama was great too, more of them would have been great.
Hotaru... she never really seems to show that much emotion, and doesn't seem to have interests and hobbies? She's an interesting character almost because of how bland she is.
LOL, in the After Party ep, Takumi's leg was fine and he could work again... x'D lmao.
I'm glad we got more of Airi and Osamu in that, they are so cute together. :3 I wish they hadn't made Hayakawa move away but... I guess they needed someone to break the pattern of all the happy couples. :P
I'm so sad it's over, I loved the characters in this drama. (Still haven't watched the "After Party" ep yet tho) I really wanted to see a bit more of Airi and Osamu especially. The last few eps have been mellow, but the last ep had more of the ridiculous plot turns that made this drama so weird and charming, lol. Goodbye summer~
I'm surprised she actually fell down the stairs, lol. Whenever a woman trips/falls in these sorts of dramas, the cute guy is usually there to catch her. xD
Keep waiting for Mizuki to redeem herself in some way but nope, she just keeps getting worse.
I love the choice of theme song, it really adds a lot of flavour, and with the way they show it with the rain scene. Often times the intro vid just feels tacked on, but this one really feels like it's a part of the drama.
I feel like this could have used one more ep, it felt like it ended a bit quickly, but I suppose it was also interesting right until the end. Could have had more of Nakayamada, he was a fun character. :3
the japanese title tells you what this is about because people can't be bothered to read synopsis or review beforehand…
what? xD I've rarely ever seen Japanese movies titled like this, especially with a whole "。" at the end. And where are you getting the idea that people don't read synopsis or reviews beforehand, cause sorry but, that sounds like nonsense.
Last ep is almost here. t.t The last few eps have been a bit mellow but I love the characters and I don't want it to end. t.t But, with it being such a summery vibes drama, it also feels like an appropriate way to end summer, watching the last ep.
It wasn't sudden though - I googled the planned episode count weeks ago, and even back then it was stated that…
It's just the default, it says 10 eps for all basically all 1 season jdramas at the start, though many turn out to be more or less than 10 but it tends not to get changed til late
The village people do so much for Seishuu, but even when they spent all that time building the shelf unit for him all he said was thanks. At least treat them to a meal. -_-
And I noticed that Sugino has a very breathy way of ending his sentences and now I can't un-notice it. @_@
The English title "Once Upon a Crime" is so poetic and such a great play on "once upon a time", meanwhile the original Japanese title is so straightforward and like a whole sentence, lmao, I mean it literally has a period at the end... were they going for deadpan humour?
Starts off cute but by the end I was really bored, took me forever to finish the last ep, lol. Really want to see more of Takumi as an actor, too bad he's so busy being an idol. t.t
