I was quite disappointed with the first 4 episodes, seemed liked i downgrade from My journey to you and Fangs of fortune. In some ways it still is, but Tian Jia Rui and Ju Jing Yi are now holding me captive. I'm obsessed. Hopefully Zeng and Du Ling get more screentime too ofc.

If you’re watching on kisskh they quickly changed the subs on 31 and 32 for the real ones after the episodes aired.

Ofcourse he has his moments, like I said he even got a kill. Still, most is given to Changyu. I just don't feel like we see his full potential.

So I'm curious whether Fan Changyu will be the one to kill everyone in this drama? I get it, Xie Zheng is already an established warrior and this is Changyus time to shine yadahyadah. But come on, live up to the name marquis! He got a minor kill in ep 30 but I feel like Changxin was his kill. I love my girl Changyu but you don't need to hammer home the point that she's a badass by making Xie Zheng useless. It's giving Jon Snow vibes. Anyone knows what happens in the novel?

Jesus, the drama has only been going on a week and there's controversy regarding charts, ratings, story, korean influence in culture and clothing, Zhang Linghe supposedly being racist etc. Must mean it's a success then if the hate is so strong. Personally I think it's one of the best c-dramas I've ever seen.
