I read theories on dramanice where Kang Bae is a part of Mister Gwi's ouls (aka crown prince) and Yeo Rin is a part of Weol Joo's soul, what do you think about it ? To me this idea does not seem right because I think a soul can not be separate like that + if the soul is still wandering and does not get in the afterlife they can not reincarnate...
If there is really a link between Kang Bae/ Weol Joo - Mister Gwi I really hope Kang Bae is somehow their descendant or " unborn son " who reincarnated somehow by the underworld queen or whatevers that would be heartwarming

I think this is the most iconic scene I have ever seen in drama so I am easily remembering it haha ! Are Mr Ma and Kang Bae the reincarnation of Yo Na and Ri On ?? >ç<

I am sure Mister Gwi is the crown prince actually they give a LOT of clues with the moments Weol Joo- Mister Gwi and they do not even try to hide it at all.

In episode 6, at the beginning when the dream changed suddently and the new music started it really reminds me "Kill me, Heal Me " between Do Hyun and Ri On xD ! Especially the music lmao I do not know if it on purpose but it was hilarious...

I must agree ! How many times a good drama turns out bad because of the romance... Somehow that makes characters annoying even the ones you liked at first ! I prefer "background " /light romance like in " Life on Mars" for example where sometimes the characters have sweet moments togethers but it do not takes 999999999 hours to show it gosh >ç<

Frankly I wasn't expecting much of this drama when I started it but now I am really enjoying it !

What I am thinking of the characters so far :

The chairman's son : He is a spoiled brat and does not want to lose his place in the company nor lose his daddy's money. I think he is actually bad for now but really dumb so his actions are not really a threat : for example when he knew about Yeol Chan's allergy he could have make him swallow dog's hair to make him sick but he just add a dog with his secretary. I saw him like a kid with a knife, he has the weapon but doe not know how to use it properly

The female executive : She is hypocrite and manipulative and she has a great influence on the chairman so to me she is the more dangerous right now. Remember at first when Yeol Chan was liked by the chairman she was nice to him ? But he started to make mistakes and she was not even trying to protect him and was watching it. And now she is trying to get rid of him : when she said she tried to stop the chairman to get rid of him, it was totally a lie she the one who comes with the idea to show some punishment inside the company...

The Chairman : Yeah he has power but like his son he seems a bit dumb sometimes and easily manipulated. He always asks his female executive's advices without thinking first. Like you said he is really evil and a selfish person + violent.

I think you are right about Yeol Chan and Man Shik teaming up against chairman and his mignions. I have vibes of " Chief Kim " in this drama I feel like perhaps here too the chairman's son will turns good and help them at some point, it was interesting in chief kim because the chairman's son was really a brat a first but when chief kim took care of him like his father should have to; he changed to be a really good guy.
That reminds me Chief Kim too because of Yeol Chan and Man Shik realationship who reminds me Chief Kim and Seol Yool's realtionship (kind of love/hate relationship but when one is in danger the other one save him)

I don't think there will be a love triangle between the mainleads (they clearcly sails the ship of Kang Bae x Yeo Rin and Weol Joo x Mister Gwi). However I get why the idea crossed your mind : because of the flashback where Weol Joo leaves her town and there are two guys : one is the crown prince who is waiting for her and an unknown one who is following her ?

My theories are :

Either the guy following her is the Death (perhaps the same Death we are seeing from the start) because she will kill herself.

Or the guy following her is in fact Mister Gwi who was secretly in love with her in the past, he was perhaps already a " cop " but they gave a lot of hints he was the crown prince expecially when he said the same quote and it reminds Weol Joo and Mister Gwi of their past, they space out for one moment

I am happy Man Shik keep to himself that Yeol Chan was the one who spread the computer virus ! But I am afraid of the chairman's son because now he knows Yeol Chan is allergic to dogs... But now I feel like Man Shik will try to help him and make the chairman's son's plans fails somehow ?

edit : So I was going to watch only half of the episode because it is not subbed yet but instead I watched the full episode... A really good episode ! I love how Yeol Chan and Man Shik are starting to like each other and help each other. This end was really beautiful : When Yeol Chan learns Man Shik was fired; he found him, grab his hand and took him back to the company !

Yeol Chan is indeed an angel however he lacks of sel-confidence and can't bring himself to show his true-self that is why for example the young employee found his report in the trash with a lot of harsh comments because Yeol Chan keeps it to himself. That is hard but sometimes you must tell people the truth, it is not because you make harsh comments cometimes that you are not a good person that can help someone to improve himself/herself

About Man Shik he is loyal that is why he can't really betray Yeol Chan totally, he had a lot of opportunities to get rid of him but he couldn't. However his way of thinking is really old and sometimes he does not understand that his way of talking can put people in danger mentally (especially when he was a superior).

I really like the way the drama is taking because I feel like both Yeol Chan and Man Shik can learn from each other and improve. I sense a bit of fathermance too

Same ! For the moment I am watching 3 dramas : Mystic Pop-Up Bar, Team Bulldog and Kkondae Intern and indeed Team Bulldgog and Kkondae intern are fun to watch but the drama I am really waiting for each weeks is Mystic Pop-up bar !

Still waiting for news about a season two... I am desperate.

Yes the senior employees are really self-satisfied and with an exaggerated sense of self-worth, I think it comes with the fact Yeol Chan is too nice with them I hope he will believe more in himself and slap them once for all....ESPECIALLY DG lmao

Not your not the only one about who find Yoon Soo funny + I kind of love " weird " characters ! And I saw this actor in " Life on Mars" so I am happy to see him again here as a rookie again. The big misunderstanding when Tae Rie and him thought Yeol Chan
appreciated their behavior when it was the contrary and he gave them 0

I hope the bad guys won't use it at some points to get the rookies against Yeol chan, the chairman's son is really sly. I love the hint of romance they give between Tae Ri and Yeol Chan ? I was not here for the romance but it is really cute again it reminds me the background romance in Life on Mars really light and cute I think it is because the characters are similar (the guy is kind of lonely but smart and the girl is really cheerful and sweet)

Yes I was talking about this scene ! There are theories like what Lee Tae Ri is his daughter because they have the same last name but I find it really hard to believe because how comes he wouldn't know what his daughter looks like ? (except if she was kidnapped or something but again I don't think so because the drama is about work's abuse).

Perhaps his other son/daughter is an adult working somewhere but I find it strange how Man Shik, his wife and his son doesn't talk about the other " kid " at all ?

The impact : it stinks

I don't remember who said that but the writer seems to write a fan-fic of Lee Min Ho : I feel like a lot of character were originally here to be important (PM koo, Tae Eul, Luna and Shin Jae) but then the writer just throw " Yi Gon this ", " Yi Gon that " and now " Yi gon is the savior ! Wow it isn't like it was the obvious plain answer haha when there were so many others explanations or characters to use ? " That is why it seem like a fan fiction to me

In Hotel Del Luna and Mystic Pop Up bar you care about the characters because every character is useful and has a role to play, here I just see one character playing solo all along...

It is sad but yeah if 3/4 of the characters would die in the end I wouldn't care
