I think Yi Chan is already losing his hearing since when he was first beat up in the street. I feel like it would be better that way, he would lost it little by little and learn sign languages with Cheong Ha and Eung Gyeol.
i also wish they would explore more her character, i'd like to know why she seems so indifferent to her child
Yes, they should have show her good sides first and then show what triggered her villain side...She was already nasty when she was a child so I can't pity her (how she cheated to be adopted instead of Myung Joon).
Also why so much hatred toward Myung Joon ?? I think she was jealous because he was always carefree even if he was an oprhan like her but damn he did not deserved that much malice... On the other hand it seemed disproportionate how she seemed to forgive Cheol Won when he was the one who hurt her and gave her the illness ? I really feel like her character does not make any sense.
Even after finish it, I still can't understand why/how Hye Eun married Myung Joon and had a child with him ?? I just can't understand her character and I don't feel empathy toward her ...

I read someone's comment about how Yi Chan will perhaps lost his memory because of the accident and that is why he said to Eun Gyoel in the present that he met Yeong Cha later and why she was his first love...So it could still be a time loop but I really hope not !
Finally even if Yi Chan still ends up deaf, he will still have a happy family life...Like you said it will not change much for his deaf wife and deaf son. So when you think about it, Eun Gyeol wants to prevent it for a selfish reason because he wants his dad to hear his music and understand him better ? That must be hard to be the only on to hear so I understand... But the real reason the mysterious guy send him to the past is to enjoy his youth and find love ( and to accept life how it is)

I thought the same but I realize a dream is not logical at all/ he was influenced by the father and brother he knew in his memories...Anyway even if the brother was not deaf in his dream that would make no sense too beause if the mother change the children too (not the same DNA).
There is also the butterfly Effect, even if the past is "repaired" like it should be (Yi Chan ending up with Cheong Ah for example) I feel like it would still not be the same children because the past still changed a little (I don't know if I make sense here). They will perhaps conceive sooner/or later and change the events
