Something I really love is how FL shows her true colors very soon toward the ML but he is still kind to her... I thought she would manipulate him a lot but ML knew she has antisocial behaviors from the first episode...
In my point of view, yes there is romance between them... Slight but still here, particularly from ML. I will just quote one of my previous comment :
"I want to say there are some romance because the ML is super empathetic and he is especially kind to FL/seems to love her. For example there is a moment the FL fall and ML catched her before she is hurt, he even protect her head by placing his hand between her head and the ground...To me it is slight romance...But again the ML is portrayed super empathetic but I feel like he is even more with FL ?" That depends how you view their actions toward each other...

First time I saw her in a kdrama, she is so beautiful and acts very well...! + With Kim Dong Wook it is even better. I really love their chemistry and how they are totally opposite. A good duo to make sparks.
It's funny how people can experience a story differently. I'm here giggling at the adorableness of the riverside…
I loved the scene where FL said she wants ML in her future and want to do a lot of things with him...It seemed like a confessions of her feelings... I think viewers who are used to see romance stories (especially dramas overall) are fond of the exagerated romance you can see in most dramas so when it is more subtle / ligh people don't consider it like romance at all.
To me they confessed in today episode that they love each other, I saw it romantically but you can also see this like a friendship too. Anyway, what is sure is, they like each other.
What makes it so good is how the main characters are so much different ! Their interactions are so interesting or funny (or both). The dialogues are really well written ! I quite enjoy it much than what I expected...
I think it is one of the dumbest end of an episode I have ever see ...Why did he kept the killer's message in…
In this episode there are a lot of clues pointing to ML's dad being the serial killer : how he did not report the suspicious things to the police (ok this one it is perhaps he inconsciously feel the ML is familiar to him), creepy vibes and how the FL spoke about her nightmares where ML does not exist... I really hope it is not ML's father the killer that would be too sad...
If it is him : did he come back earlier from his trip and pretended otherwise in front of his father ? Why, in the present, the FL's mother recognized him ? Does FL's mom knows him somehow ??
I think it is one of the dumbest end of an episode I have ever see ...Why did he kept the killer's message in his pocket ? Put so much blood on his hands ?? Why the cop is useless and annoying until the end ???
Am I the only one who feels like the leads are very miscast? Their acting here is very dull. The male lead always…
I feel the same because I saw Kim Dong wook playing in other Kdramas before and I was expecting top notch acting from him but it is not the case... I am a fan of his since The Guest but here his character feel plain : just the "nice" guy without much depht, I think his best roles are when he plays a sad /traumatised character, you can feel his sadness. Here he seems bored to play this character, It feels like he is just telling his lines and that is it...About the FL she is most of the time is overeacting, I had a hard time in first episodes when she was following her mom everywhere always calling her "mom".
Kim Dong Wook is also playing in "Delightfully Deceitful "right now, I started it yesterday and he is much better in this kdrama.
Only watched episode 1 and there is a big potential, I really love how the characters are like "don't judge by their look" ! It was so relatable when the ML buy different drinks because he does not know what she likes... He is empathetic and too anxious to ask what she wants. I think the psychatrist is right to warn him to not hang out with some sort of people but it is wrong to restrain his emotions that much, he must find the good balance. It is like feeling everything or nothing so I can udnerstand his character.
I also like how the FL is portrayed, not the weak for once and she is actually smart. Make me think of Flower of Evil's ML.
I know it seems like I am making excusses for Ko Mi Sook's behaviors but she really has a shitty life between her parents who physically and mentally abuse her (destroying her furnitures, hitting her and insulting her) and she was raped by her own brother (perhaps multiple times and the mother know but let her in her misery)...
I really want the ML's father in 80s to know he is from the future ! Nice and sweet episode, at last FL's mother stand for herself !
I think ML's mother was also a victim of the serial killer and the father/grandfather made up the story about how she left ?
My brain is so confused now..How do they want to handle the romance between both ML & FL? The ML just told FL…
I am a bit scared about the end because it is named "My perfect stranger" so perhaps in the end their memories together will vanish because they changed the past. Then they will meet again and feel like they know each other without really remembering why...
I am 10000 % sure the ML's father will see "by accident" the photo of him and ML and found out ML is his son... Also it is obvious the father is the most likely to be the inventor of the time machine.
Never thought I would be crying about the bully's story. I feel so bad for her mom so I'm hoping they truly did…
Yes the story with the mom looking for her daughter made me feel so bad too. The last two episodes are overall really sad ! I love that the MC read several times the letter and said to the bully girl her mother would have read it more than thousand of time and that would break her heart...
It's episode 9 already and there's still no addressing to the most fundamental plot device used in the drama.…
Yes a shame the time travelling topic is not developed enough but it is not a surprised often the time travelling topic stays in the background/ is just here to set the story in most of the Kdramas I watched. Also I feel like the serial killer is lazy so far only the mother ( in the future) the teacher, and the sister died...And it kinda seemed rushed because the teacher and the sister died the same night ? I have not this feeling that the characters are really in danger, I don't know how to put it.
I want to watch today's episode but the comments make me worried so I think I will watch it tomorrow with the second episode... I just don't want to ruin my mood.
Proof this is a great drama when I see so much comments about theories, everyone seem suspicious !
Yeah I saw a lot of theories about the café owner being the killer/or accomplice and I really don't think that…
" Why did the director have to show her perspective? " You have a very good point here, that would be super interesting if the café's owner is more important than I thought (a complice or another time traveller !).
Yes, about the uncle, there are too much evidences, he is too obvious to be the true culprit but at the same time I can't picture anyone else because of how the FL's mother reacted... She seemed really shocked, said something like "you tricked us all this time" . But at the same time I want a twist more subtle, that would be interesting to have woman as the killer for once !
