Yeah I saw a lot of theories about the café owner being the killer/or accomplice and I really don't think that is the case. It is just another misdirection to make every characters being suspicious. For example perhaps she was not at the teahouse the night where the teacher argued with someone because of the "butterfly effect". The proof is the glasse man being there this night when he was not supposed to be here (same perhaps for FL's father because I think it was the uncle in the original timeline who met the teacher). Then that can explain why café owner's whereabouts changed !
However I don't think she is a time traveller. She talked about a date because they are from opposite sex , late at night, asking for a meal. I had a light doubt when she gave them soy sauce and the FL said something like "by the way, did people in this time dip the bread in soy sauce ?"Then I thought that it is perhaps a "thing" of the future where people dip the bread in soys, and thus meaning the café's owner knew about the future. But when she takes the tray away she said they were weird to dip the bread in soy sauce ? (If someone can explain to me about this soy sauce moment that would be nice because I don't understand the purpose of the soy sauce if you can't drip anything in it...)
I know it seems too obvious to be true but I think the uncle is the killer that would really explain the FL's mother murder...She seemed to recognized her murderer so it is someone close to her (can't be FL's father for the sake of FL to be alive with a happy mom like she wants and can't be the writer because she does not use her own hands to kill someone)
Or what if the uncle is indeed mentally ill but sometimes gain lucidity ? Also there was a scene where he was ripping apart books and perhaps it triggered him. I also wonder if the FL's mother knows the writer stole her first writting ? What if when the uncle ripped apart the books she recognized her book and she confronted the writer and thus ending up like that after all those years ?
FL will most likely be ML's wife when he passes away in 2022, based on all of the story twists that have occurred…
Would be a good twist but I just think the ML behaves like this toward FL because it is his personality like said in the details "He is calm and straightforward as a journalist and kind in his personal life". I don't remember where but someone guessed the glasses man was also a time traveler and now it is confirmed because he said "It ended up happening" about the death of the teacher ! So he knew she was a future victim of a serial killer...That is how I understand it.

I watched until episode 4 and I am dropping it because I just can't stand the mother anymore (a shame because other characters are good)... I thought the mother would become nicer after her son's accident but it is not really the case, one time she is sweet with him and a few second later she will hit him/let him starve/cry out loud at him (Even when the guy is only seven years old mentally and forgot his corrupt past) like wtf ?? I thought this drama would show the mother change but it is not really the case. to me she does not deserve her son, like I said in another comment she is abusing him (especially mentally).
The" writers" depict her a bit like a lunatic, for example she apologized to her son in order to make him eat and then a moment later she does not feed him and let him starve because of course it is the ONLY way to make him move again !!! Like yes it is not like giving him love and time would be enough ?
Episode 6 and so far nobody was killed by the serial Killer in the past so It is a bit boring...I am more invested in the Fl's family funny moments so that says a lot.
The past changed a lot so I think the victims might change ? And so the ML and Fl will have a harder time to save next victims ? This drama lack a bit of dark moment for exemple it would have been nice to see how the ML dies in the futur.

It would have been better if this Kdrama was shorter but more straightforward... I know the two main characters can't reveal their goals too soon to each other but it juste become silly at some point because they had literally a LOT of opportunities to explain their behaviors ! The fact also they don't trust each other but they let each other doing whatevers they want without knowing why is hard to believe. They already changed a lot in the past without really calculating the consequences.
I suppose the two main characters will be the trigger of the serial killer... I really want the serial killer to be a woman for once ( so the writer) but it is too soon to know and perhaps she also stole the description of the first victime . Perhaps she knows the killer ?
This season was so draggy and where are the anwers ? We still don't know how Wook is linked to II Yong ? Why Wook has those weird dreams linked to missing people (I think his last dream with the merry-go-round is about another missing person/another village) ??? Or for example why captain, Eun Sil , is still in the ghost village ? (I guess it is because her full body was not found ? Or is it because she is the "chief" of the village and she must wait someone specific to pass on her "job") ?? Perhaps that is also why Thomas can't leave his village too ? It was sweet how Alice understood someone new arrived to the village without Eun Sil noticing for once (but Alice cant grow up and take her place, a shame...).
