I saw Ha Joon only two times (Missing the other side and Crazy Love) and I really like this actor ! And he is again playing a character grieving a meaningful woman for him...It was even more heartbreaking in Missing the other side because he had still hopes his fiancé was alive.
Does anyone know if there is a special meaning behind the outfits (more specifically the colors) ? I noticed for example in episodes 12-13 there is a lot of scenes where one character is all in white and talking to another character all in black : one moment where Baek Soo Young was all in white/ Noh Go Jin all in black, then a scene where Baek Soo Young is still all in white/ Lee Shin Ah all in black, a scene where Baek Soo Young is still all in white/ Noh Go Jin is all in white (well there are both all in white in this one) and another one where Lee shin Ah is all in black/Noh Go Jin all in white
So if there is really a meaning I think it is about how Baek Soo Young does not change/ is still blocked in the past when both Noh Go Jin and Lee Shin Ah go forward/balance each other ?
edit : Funny how a LOT of people want to betray/destroy or kill the ML. I know the ML was really rude but it still feel like too much and I still wonder how he survived until now with so much hatred...The secretaries's "revenge" was really petty (it was even the main cause the FL was always yelled at by the ML when she was just his secretary) like come on girls you are worth better than this go on in your life...I really thought they would have stopped sooner than that (like when ML's money has paid the old lady's hospital bill or when they saw the ML changed for the better ) but nah they waited to be catch read handed (+ the fake bomb was really dangerous when you think about it)
And sorry but the fact the ML does not remember most of his secretaries is not anormal, they acts like he saw them for years when it was only 3 months. I can't even remember the people I meet at my job yesterday.
It was crazy until it wasn't. Honestly the title should be Crazy Hatred, like let's be honest their love was not…
I only fully enjoyed it when Go Jin read Shin A's diary and thought she was dying. So not to say really late in the Kdrama (episode 10 or 11). And I don't really know why because usually I don't hate so much clichés sometimes I even enjoy it (but again it seems like a collection at some point in this one) and the acting/musics/way of filming was good. I really had a hard time to like most of the characters though so perhaps this is why.
edit : Also yeah I really thought like the name suggested the drama would a bit more "crazy" I thought it would be the sames vibes as "Feel good to die" or " Psychopath diary". Like it would be jumping from a big crazy misunderstanding to another one ?
I don't like how they depicte unrecquired love most of time because it is always the nice and loyal guy who knows…
It is true I was at least expecting Kang Ha Joon to reveal his feelings at some point and to have a clear negative answer from Cha Woo In... I even thought Do Bae Man would be one of the factor for Kang Ha Joon to have the courage and tries his chance before it was too late for him but he did not. I know it is selfish but not everyone have the guts to ask someone out or to hint their attraction and I know she does not have to notice his feelings either.
For those who read the webtoon, at least did they kept the same ending ? With the sentence about how to become superior if you know what I means... I only watched one or two episodes but I did not liked how they changed a lot of things like how the "comic serial killer" transforming bodies of his victims as cartoon characters becomes "the rich young girls serial killer" (I don't know why there are so obsess with girls/women being always the victims )
Actually, now that you put it like that...it is all clichés😏
Yes totally. I love how he seems to hold back his tears + the fact he saw his grandmother died from Cancer add to the psychology of the character. He knows how painful it is to have a cancer.
Actually, now that you put it like that...it is all clichés😏
But I must admit there are still sweet moments like for example when he thinks she is dying and change his behavior. I just hope when he will learn it was a mistake from the hospital he will not be a jerk again...I hope his reaction will be like "I am glad you are not actually dying"
I just really this pet peeve in dramas - K C or J - drinking like there is no tomorrow and they just gotta gotta…
Same especially because I never drank alcool in my life so I can't relate. I don't find it funny too. It can be a little when the characters are acting weird but that is all. And another cliché to add at the list. This scene really felt weird too because the FL clearly did not throw up where she was, she clearly turned toward the ML and throwed up on him...
I know I said I started to enjoyed it but I am also half pissed by most of the things happening...
So Se Gi really did not help Go Jin after he was rolled over by a car (I thought there would be a twist about that) and made him eat a peach at some point just to know if he is faking his amnesia or not.
A bit (to not say a lot) dissapointed with this drama because I read comments about how this drama is breaking all the clichés...I don't see where except perhaps for the fake amnesia, it is even the contrary the writers seem to collect all the cheesy cliché : dumb-dense-clumpsy FL, booksmart-rich-egocentric ML, Second ML being too nice like "I am hiding something and will surely betray everyone in the end", the famous contract the ML will talk about all the time to belittle the FL, most of the vilains being studid or ridiculious or both, ML cliché past trauma about everyone leaving his side and that explains why he is acting like a spoiled little kid (yeah-yeah), FL who has zero skills or interesting sides except her "kindness", the bitch who abandonned the ML in the past trying to get him back because she has a "good" reason( or a really poor excuse in my opinions) and so on
Good watch but the revenge plot felt a bit flat at some point, I was more interested by the little cases being prosecuted. And I feel like there is something missing ? They hinted Now Hwa Young had a deeper connection with Cha Woo In's father but there was no answer ? Or perhaps I missed something... In the end I feel like Now Hwa Young's goal was nonsense, how did she ended up like that ? Why is she doing all of that exatly ? It could have been nice to see more flashback of her pastself to understand her motivations.
I have second lead syndrome now .cha won in should have ended up with the CEO Kang. 😑
I don't like how they depicte unrecquired love most of time because it is always the nice and loyal guy who knows the FL for much longer than the first ML who is friendzoned... And they should stop with that damn excuse of the character being too dense to notice, no she clearly just ignored him until the end like how the hell she did not noticed he likes her for so long but feel that Be Man has feelings for her ? It could have been nice at least to have a scene where she said something like "Sorry but I don't have the same feelings as yours" but no they go for the "you are such a good friend" easy answer. The guy literally was in prison for a whole year for her and it is her answer ?
Anyways I feel like the romance was unecessary , the leads had chemistry but not that "way" I did not get what attracted them romantically in each other and don't understand the purpose for it except to add fanservice.
it is actually very bad in many asian countries :(
Recenty I finished Military Prosecutor Doberman and in the last episodes it was focused on the bullying in the army. The one being bullied lost his mind, took some weapons and killed or gravely harmed his "comrades " (except the one who never bullied him). His sentence was death. This case really moved me because those people who bully don't understand how being bullied (+ in a daily basis) can harm you emotionally and mentally too. The last straw keeping his sanity was broken because the chief of the bully talked about his sick mother (how he will trash her place when he will be release from the military).
Personally I was a bit bullied when I was at school (not in Korea) but it was not that severe (perhaps people would just isolate me or follow me to make fun of me ) and it was already hard so I can't imagine when the case of bullying is much harder.
The answer is to not "put up" with it. It is a grave mistake, I was sick of the mother saying to her son that he must let them be and endure. If you let them do what they want, they will go further away. I don't means violence is the answer though but just firlmy decline their "requests" and seek help because anyways you are already in a tight spot especially if they are violent with you. I think the more painful thing is to see the victim doing nothing about it but it is the hard reality because it asks a lot of courage to stand your ground and you have a lot of chance to have problem if you fight back. Also victims bullied daily will be accoutumed to what they endured and will end up thinking it is how it should be, that they are at fault to be too weak and so on. That is why for example when someone is abused is a relationship they will have a hard time to call for help.
I really feel the bullying topic is everywhere, recently I also finished the game "Lost Judgment" (japanese) and it the main focus was also about bullying and how right and wrong is blurred. At some point there is a guy who kill the ones who bullied in the past and even offer to the victims's families a chance to be part of it. But is it really "just" ? It is the whole question of the game as our detective tries to catch him.
I really felt moved about episode 13 and 14, it always hit different when a nice person lost his mind because…
Oh I just watched the end of episode 14 so his sentence is death... I have no words for how disgusted I am but again it was either that or life in prison.
I really felt moved about episode 13 and 14, it always hit different when a nice person lost his mind because of the stress (here because of the bullying) and kill people... That sicken me how the bullies who survived continued to act like before and are even happy to be compensated after being injured, like what the hell ? They pushed an human being so far, they harmed him mentally and pysically so far and this is all that matter for them ? The one bullied will live with the guilt all his life... I think there are no chances for him to heal after that even if the case of bullying is approved by the court, his life is screwed and those shitty excuses of human being think about how they are the victims here ?
I had the same thought at that point too - Why do they keep giving away their advantage, when they know the enemy…
I still think there was no need to mention the name of the witness though and even if really there was no other choices at least give the witness some protection after saying his name. The good guys know how rotten the villains are, that did not crossed their mind the witness could be in danger afterward ?
I had the same thought at that point too - Why do they keep giving away their advantage, when they know the enemy…
I really think it was just to add an awkward fight with Cha Woo In and add some drama (oh the irony haha) with the witness's testimony( the fact he was bruised to show his speech more dramaticaly). However I still think it was not well played from the writers, the villain could have found out by themselves but not like that because Do Be Man seems really stupid suddently.
Also haha I am stupid too because in the first episodes when there was the flashback with Do Bae Man's parents having the accident I tought "What a shitty way of saying goodbye to your son" when his mother told him her last words because I thought she said "Be a Man" and not his name
I feel like he could have been good to begin with had his mother knocked some sense onto him from the start, by…
Yes I feel that. I know what he did was really wrong and can't be justified (for example how he helped his friend to rape a girl and I think it was not the first time) but at the same time I understand how he ended up like that : his hate/fear for women, his "obsession" for Dorberman (I think, unconsciously, he feels like his mother only saw him like a dog) or his erectil dysfunction (due to his past trauma with his mom). Also he is typically the case of a kid too much sheltered (well financially not with love in this case) that he never had the chance to grow up as a good man or understand how to put himself in other people's shoes. It was really an improvement to see him being empathetic with the guy being bullied.
It is rare but I love when in dramas one of the villain become one of the good guy after being taught some good sense and real love. I also wish dramas would focus more on the root of the abuse, I don"t remember witch dramas it was (perhaps Class of Lies ? ) but I was really dissapointed how only the students were confronted to their abuse and not their parents.
I really think No Hwa Young is Cha Woo In's mother. It is really odd they did not show any picture of her mother or talked about her from the start. I feel like it is pratically confirmed now that No Hwa Young said that their relationship could have been different...That would be the reason why No Hwa Young let Cha Woo In and Do Be Man doing their revenge (and I think Hwa Young wants to take down the other powerful of the army to take their places).
Of course the villain is still a villain and I think it was also for her own benefit but she rised in my esteem when she let Yang Jong Sook testified about how commanding general Hong tried to rape her and then assaulted her... I am sure they will show Hwa Young story at one point and my guess are that she was surely abused by men that is why she is so eager to take them down.
So if there is really a meaning I think it is about how Baek Soo Young does not change/ is still blocked in the past when both Noh Go Jin and Lee Shin Ah go forward/balance each other ?
