I’m reeeeeaaalllyy hoping for a second season of this show
But it's so rare to see a second season with Kdramas, I saw a lot of Kdramas with potentials but still not sequel... And even when there are the cast change and it's not the same feeling...
Sorry my pessimistic side again >_< I will end with a good thing : you chose the best giff for your profil, he acts like a kid when he drinks alcohol<3 so cute.
I still don't know what to think about Mr.Hwang... xD
I find his character sometimes incoherent : One moment he plays low : when he had hit Hae II in the back for example, but another moment not : when Hae II was against two guys and he helped him okay I know it was because he wanted to beat one of the two but he said it was not fair 2 vs 1 so I found it funny from him.
Same when they find the corpses in the last episode and he says " What a trash, it's not something to do to humans " and Goo Dae Young gave him the gaze like " seriously dude you killed my bestfriend and you have the guts to say that in front of me ?? "
Same with IDon'tRememberWichEpisode where the cop pretended the priest find out he was a traitor and beat him : Cheol Bum knew it was not the case but played dumb.
Or when he teams up with them and change his clothes, he seems to enjoy it so I think he is not really evil.
And he still didn't harm the family from the dead cop when he could. From the start I knew it was not him who killed Priest Lee because he cared a little about him ( he had a flashback with him) and I thought he would turn good at some point. But his character is still messy I don't know what to think, I like him but he still did awful things and to me the fact to see Dae Young " works " with him in the last episode is not consistent with their old conflict even if Dae Young likes the Priest and did it for him it was really strange to see.
Fantastic series at the level of THE GUEST.Unlike THE GUEST it has elements of romance and comedy and everything…
The guest was so good and I liked the fact there were not romance ( because I'm more fond on friendships and all) but I must admit the romance here is really well done.
at the end of ep 7, when madame Jin knocked on the car window... I literally got chills. this drama is officially…
Same ! I love how the four of them gaze at each other, everything is connected and well done it's really so good ( I can't stop myself to watch all the episodes to know what's going on...). I love the music at the end, like it was the destiny and that's why they meet ! I just hope we will not have a sad ending because I think Do Hyun is going to need a new heart at the end and I can totally see the old cop dies and gives it to him or perhaps something will happen to Do Hyun's father...
Lee Jun Ho is such a good actor, he was great in Chief Kim and he is even better here.
And what is funny is just before I thought " perhaps it's the same road, nooo no way..." *knock knock " O_O
I know that I will be the only person to think this, but you who say that this is familiar to stranger ah dont…
I tried Stranger too and I dropped it too but I was wondering the same thing. Confession is a very clever story perhaps that's why ? Or perhaps because the lawyer has some kind of dicease even after surgery ? I don't really see how they are similar though.
Another question : Choi Do Hyun seems to " remember " what the guy who was the owner of the heart saw before his death so perhaps the drama should have " supernatural " with others genres ?? But it would spoil the story... Anyway Confession is really dynamic I like it and everything seem to make sens each episode.
So I wasn't expeting anything from this drama and I thought it would been only about his father but WOW so much interesting already, I am only at the third episode but I find the drama quite smart and I hope the next episodes will be as good !
I agree it was completely unnecessary and didn't contribute anything substantial to the story. They just wasted…
I know it's from a year ago but to me his death destroyed the drama. I was only watching it for the bromance and the romance between him and the princess ! And seriously they talk about his dead like what ten minutes ? And then you see the two main leads with their shitty romance, what ?? DUDE YOUR BEST FRIEND DIED IN YOUR ARM. Okay he is a prince and the drama should end on a positive side but why kill him then ?? He deserved a good ending. I hate when a character die so suddently. ESPECIALLY IN THE LAST EPISODES. A GOOD CHARACTER. IN THE BACK !
And I can't even imagine the poor princess. She can't walk and he was her sunshine so now she will be alone all her life ? Her brother didn't even told her himself, their relationship was strange by the way okay they are from the royal family but the two brothers in the first episodes seemed more close. But Lee Jae Ha and his sister were rarely together.
About the butler, can someone tell me if it's a reference when he knows how to do all these things or just for the comedy aspect ?? I think it's a reference to King2Hearts because in this drama Lee Soon Jae played in it and he was working for the royal family so he knewhow to speak foreign languages and he knews how to do a lot of things.
I think it's one of the church's superior and that's why they look so surprised. Perhaps Lee Young Joon ? The…
But one long week it such a torture T_T Why I am watching dramas airing lately ?? My heart is broken now. I hope Sung Kyu doesn't die... That would screw up everything, especially the last two episodes were really funny with the safe and " tong " !! So the end takes me by surprise.
" I think it's either someone really shocking or maybe detective go and seo kinda overreacting. " Yeah perhaps they are just overreacting it's hard to say with them ^^
However there is one thing I don't understand and perhaps it's just because it's a nasty guy and that's it but why Lee Joong Kwon seems to wait to Hae II to explode ? I mean he knows how he can totally lost it if something bad happen to one of his friends but he seems to enjoy, it seemed a bit strange to me.
Okay, So who do you think detective Seo and Go see in the CCTV? Why they look so suprised. What we know that night…
I think it's one of the church's superior and that's why they look so surprised. Perhaps Lee Young Joon ?
The night Father Lee was killed he received a call from someone and seemed happy so I think it was about the little girl's case but it was just a trap and he was killed. I don't think he saw it coming it's just he wanted Hae II to get better. Anyway it can only be someone linked with the four ex-bad guys either the chief behind them ( who I think is one of the church's superior) or perhaps I'm overthinking and it is just this scum of ***** Lee Joong Kwon. I swear it's the first time I want a bad guy to die so badly, just a piece of trash.
Some people thought it was the young priest the killer but I don't think so ( even if frankly I had a doubt when he said he had something to tell to father Kim xD ) because that would not explain the car in the first episode which took father Lee and why Mr.Hwang covered it.
The orphanage part really remind me " Children of lesser gods " except here Soo Hyun is the only one who became a killer when in Children of lesser gods the main lead was the only one to run away from this and avoid becoming a monster when others kids become killers.
totes creepy! now i understand why some people were turned off with the sibling turned lover dynamic of Reply…
There was the same thing in " Kill me, heal me " with the second male lead so strange because even if they are not related by blood they grow up like brother/sister so I just can't understand. That's means about that kind of relationships the guy didn't one sec thought of the girl like his sister but was in love from the start O_O ??
The end of today episode is just awful, I might totally hate this drama because of that. So petty and low. A long week to wait again, I am a bit tired of that kind of ends seriously...
Korean drama is basically stupid love shit, if it's not about romance they gonna end up bringing up loveline in…
It's funny because I think J-dramas are boring now that I know K-dramas... Well I don't think japanese dramas are " shit " because I'm not that close-minded but If I should explain why I prefer one over another one I would put it like this : J-dramas have a slow pace and even when I skipped episodes I'm like " What that's it ?? " , the way of filming is not dynamic enough to me ( for example you see the same character talking severals minutes), actors overreacting ( I know it's normal but it breaks the fourth wall and I hate it ), actions moments are awkward and even no-actions moments are and I don't know sometimes if it's because of money or censorship but for example sometimes there is a body without blood or you don't see when someone is stabbed ??
You're going to faint if you watch some OCN's dramas because next to it Japanese's dramas seem for kids. But I'm not ungrateful I remembered I enjoyed Nobunaga Concerto for example, or a J-movie talking about suicidal thought which was well done and I think J-dramas have its own charm. Even if you do not like it anymore, you should always respect what once bring you joy in your life.
Great article, and it's also mostly my experience with my friends/family!! Although I've got to admit I too get…
"I too get some of the actors' faces confused occasionally" I was the same and I found myself racist to not recognize them but I read somewhere ( I don't remember where because it was so long ago) that oriental people also have trouble recognizing occidental faces... It's because you're used to see some kind of faces so it's hard for your eyes to differentiate some faces when others are going to be more familiar to you. After some years now I don't have anymore problem with that and it's make me angry when someone say " they are the same blabla" so I answer to them oriental people too think occidental people are the same and they don't like when I say that so don't forget the morality of " To a stranger you're a stranger " or " Don't do to someone what you don't want to suffer " ...
About the subtitles it's really a shame because thanks to it you can really enjoy I lot of countries's series and movies. Thanks to it I'm curious about others languages and cultures. And the article is right about " it's an habit after some time ' it's even weird when I watch something without subtitles.
About the " why are watching korean when you're not " It's just plenty silly when you know your TV is full of foreign series/movies. And honestly if I was watching just french series/movies I would been so depressed.
OCN owns this genre! Honestly, the number of successful, similar genre titles under their belt continues to increase.…
Thanks about the article I wanted to know about the relationships/ characters so even if I don't watch it right now I'm glad to know about it ! BUT STOP TEMPTING ME, YOU DEVIL * take out a church cross*
