Honeslty i do not find The Guest so frightening . I think the first episode is a bit surprising because there is a bunch of violence you did not see coming but after that you will know when something is going to happen.
However one's does not perceive things the same way so it is really hard to say if it is tolerable or not. What i can say is yes there will be a lot of blood, yes there will a lot of horrors things but that is what the drama is about.
I do not recommend watching this drama if you could not bear too much horror. You could keep it in mind and if one day you want a bloody drama with a strong friendship and a hot priest then you know what to do ! ^^ For example i did not watch "Save me" because i wonder if i should, that seems a bit unhealty for me but maybe one day...

haha i think i was the only one to think that ! And when Park II Do tried to stab Kil Yeong, i think it is a reference too. I feel like I have already seen that moment on a horror movie poster but perhaps that is just me haha.

1 and 4 ----> I think the grandfather (Park II Do) was not really in coma, he played with Hwa Pyung's emotions and he can control spirits far away sor perhaps he commanded them to stop temporarily to make believe that Priest Yang was him.
2 and 3 ----> Yes and how he makes Yong Gwang and Mateo voices ? And i was really lost when we know that he was not possessed same for the congresswoman (why she reacted to the cross then ? Same for Priest Yang).
5 ---> Yes that is why i thought it was Yook Gwang in the first place ! I was thinking about hyper crazy theories like what the blind woman shaman was possessed by Park II Do at the time when she tried to exorcise Hwa Pyung and perhaps Yook Gwang was is son and she possessed him after that (yes i know that would not explain how Mateo's brother was possessed but i thought really that Hwa Pyung was not longer possessed when Priest Yang saw him).
6 ---> And why Hwa Pyung gave dark gaze if he was not possessed ? My explanation is that Park II Do had a big power and the grandpa was next to Hwa Pyung so perhaps she thought that was the boy...-meh-


Overall The guest was good and i knew already that the second part of OCN's drama (and in drama generally) are a bit draggy and a little dissapointed. However the end was not so bad and seriously i do know if i am the only one but i find characters in OCN's dramas very engaging and heartwarming. It is just so good when all characters are potential culprit, all the characters seems suspicious to me and that is really interesting to think who did this and why.

Even the creators of the drama shipped them haha ! The end is the proof, so much intense tension between them. They are so damn cute seriously. Again i think the romance is not necessary here because the friendship is just the best for this kind of drama. And if you saw the behind the scene, the actors seem to get well together and there is a good ambiance, i think it is important to create such beautiful characters and story.

Exactly ! I was very afraid one of the three die especially when Hwa Pyung stabbed himself and after that Mateo still try to exorcise him. I thought to myself "oh no one of them will die for sure !".
The last scene was just so well done, no words just few smiles. Right in my heart.

The end is so beautiful and sad at the same time !? But nevermind it was really fine for me : a last twist, level up bromance, the great friendship between the three of them was just so wonderful.

Try the opposite; You show the only moments without horrors things (if you find it lol) and you add "The more sweeter drama i have ever seen in my life, surprise for the rest." mouhaha

Perhaps, perhaps but i hope it is not him like Dea said he is too obvious, that would be not fun haha ! And it seems that a twist about Park II Do will comes so hope the last two épisodes is not going to kill anyone of the trio (the three of them have already enough bad moments... That remind me in the last episode i was afraid that Mateo was possessed or the real Park II Do when Hwa Pyung was stabbed it scared me for a second because he was always with Priest Yang and that would be ironic because he thought Park II Do was Hwa Pyung unconsciously.

I think he is like the Congresswoman : he is "possessed" but keep control of himself, he is just a diversion. You don't think it is strange that he didn't noticed Kil Yeong in the Tunnel ? But i can't explained when he buried the corpse ^~^

No i don't think Father Yang is Park II Do, i think the real Park II Do is Hwa Pyung's grandfather. We can see his empty bed at the episode 14 and Priest Yang said to Hwa Pyung " you are easily lured ; you saw what you are not supposed to but you miss what you have before your eyes."

Don't worry Katie i think Hwa Pyung will surely been possessed in the final episodes mouhaha

Yeah and Hwa Pyung saw him in Ghost, so there is no doubts for sure :( ! ! I think Hwa Pyung is the character who is the most unlucky i have ever seen. Like you thought to yourself "oh it can't be worst" and yes it is ! Mateo doubted him, Park II Do tried to kill Kang Yeong, his bestfriend is dead, he was stabbed and in the next épisode he will know that his grandpa is Park II Do from the start and perhaps he will be possessed and again Mateo could die.....

Noooo so Park II Do is Hwa Pyung's grandpa ? We can see his empty bed !! Whoa !

Well you are perhaps right and i love psychopath (in fiction huh xD!!) but i find it too bad when the bad guy is just evil because he is evil and just vicious because he is vicious. I hope there are reasons behind his behaviors even if -i know nothing can justify killing like that. The real "good" bad guy should be like an human being : have weakness and a past who could explained his actions. (In Tunnel for example the murderer had a sad childhood which gave him an obsession over women).
Wondered if it was grandpa too but he had really carsick and again for the fact that he evaded the question of "why are you not afraid of me" from Hwa Pyung i wonder if the grandpa does not know something from Park II Do. Perhaps the grandpa started all this (if i remember right he was the first to be stabbed in episode 1 -perhaps a revenge ?)

So excited for tomorrow's episode !!! (^-^/

Yep strange the grandpa is still alive : Either he is Park II Do -but i do not think so because Bong Sang recognized the person who visited him so either Priest Yang or the dude shaman Yook Gwang- or either he will give an important information. I wonder if there is a connection between Hwa Pyung family and Park II Do's family. I forgot but the dad wanted to say something to Hwa Pyung before his death. And i am not sure why but the moment where we saw the well with the bodies of Park II Do's victims, i think the kid was alive and that still bother me.
I wonder why Park II Do became crazy in the first place : perhaps he was also a psychic when he was alive but his family rejected him so he believed he was not human and killed those who where around him. But why such an obsessions about Hwa Pyung ? Because he is a psychic too ? -raaaa i want the next episode NOW, it is me who going to be crazy at this rate-/Please do not give a bad explanations directors, i believe in you!!-

Right a great drama ! I hope the end will be good enough and will not make any mistakes ! I hope when we going to know who is the body which Park II Do possessed, it will take our breath away. -not just the character who is too "fishy" but someone witch would be "woah i do not see that coming".
Don't know if it is just me but i find OCN's drama very "warm" because their story are not especially too original or the characters are not so much complicated --> The story just keep you on the edge because it is well done and the characters are simple -not all- but i quickly like them because they are humans and do not just stand here for the background.
I started this drama since last week and i regret not having waited for all episodes to be released because it is so good and waiting a week is just a torture for me !
I'm going to take my brother in this infernal spiral mouhaha

"Children of a Lesser God" are kind of same vibes though: One of the main lead had visions -but of the future here- and had a bloody past, the second main lead is a cop who did not believe in shaman things and the third kind of remind me Mateo character but more dark. This is also an OCN's drama.
I did not see yet "Save me" because it seems more darker than the rest.
Finally soon enough another drama from Ocn again on Priest theme. By the way, a lot of OCN's drama are with a trio -Tunnel, The Guest, Priest, Children of a lesser God, vampire detective- (Two guys and one woman).

Yes maybe. And right like "haha your family is dead and now yours friends will perish AND Yook Gwang is me from the start *music tragic*" Hwa Pyung would be one of the most unlucky character i have ever seen xD !! I hope too it is not him but that would be a master stroke from the directors if that is the case because frankly i never thought about him like a bad guy before, and it is just recently i doubt about it because one of the viewer talked about who their think is PArk II Do with me. So firstly i told to myself "no it can"t be him, he is so clumsy and funny" but well why not ? One of my bad pleasure is when a character "naive" is in reality the bad guy.

But well i keep doubting Priest Yang, he is like 99% more fishy than Yook Gwang. I think Dea is more likely to be right (the comment above) : Yook Gwang has more chance to die and that would be the end of Hwa Pyung, he will totally turn bad.

I think either it is because Hwa Pyung is an powerful psychic so perhaps Park II Do considers him like a perfect body or either for an old revenge that we do not know yet (perhaps his family hadan history with him ? I think there is more to the death of Hwa Pyung's mother and Grandmother that we do not know). I think Park II Do was also a psychic when he was alive but his family rejected him and he become crazy because of that.

Yes exaltly ! I rewatched some moments in previous episodes and several times he said to Hwa Pyung "I can't, i have an appointment" so i though it was an excuse because he was afraid but now i find it super fishy. Like he was seeing the congresswoman back then ? When in the episode 11 Mateo received a call from the father of Hwa Pyung, he said "No matter how long you wait there, it won't do anything." and "we can see you from anywhere" but only Yook Gwang (except the trios) knows about where he was.

Perhaps Mateo's brother was really possessed with Park II Do and meet the person who buried the body of the student witch was the shaman. All the rest was a trap with "Park II Do is still in your house" and all. What i can not explained is why Yook Gwang had visions of his own death ?

Your third paragraph sums up perfectly what I think. I wonder if Mateo's curse can be cured ? I do not want to see a tragic end with one of the trios dead or the three of them... I rassured myself with "Oh there are enough deaths like that, they won't do this" -i am naive huhu-

What i would expect in the next episode : Bong Sang wants to kill Kil Yeong (yes it is a big news right ?) but Mateo and Hwa Pyung come to save her. Then they will try to exorcise him but fail because of Mateo's curse. In a way or another they will succeed but Bong Sang will faint. (because if not there would be not suspense huhu). At the end Hwa Pyung will meet Yook Gwang/ in parallel Bong Sang wakes up and tell to Kil Yeong and Mateo that he saw the shaman at the hospital before become crazy. But too late Park II Do will possessed again Hwa Pyung.
edit : In the preview we can see Bong Sang with a black eye ? Would that means it is PArk II Do himself who possess him ? That is why he cannot be exorcised ?

I can not wait the next episode >_< !!
