I'm currently watching a show called "Last King of the Cross" based on the autobiography of John Ibrahim who's life is a movie. He went from emigrating to Australia from Lebanon leaving everything behind to escape the Lebanese Civil War as a child, to then leaving home becoming embroiled in street life and becoming the biggest nightclub owner in Australia owning the biggest nightclub in the country owning between 17-40. I haven't watched a show this good in a long time and wanted to recommend it to people that liked this show minus the ending as it shares similar features. it's Business themed, has a Smart/Ruthless ML, and even has a Jin Yang Cheol like character lol. No sad or open ending as of right now, at least I hope as the author had an assassination attempt on his life a few months ago.

Yeah I think you're right watching the trailer the 2nd ML is probably a bad guy just like L&P 2nd ML, I say it's a 50/50 chance the marriage happens and then time skip or they drag it out. I don't even care if she get's married to him I just don't want to watch 7 episodes of the ML thinking about her, hanging around her after that acting like a cuck, because you know how lovesick MLs get.

In the trailer the FL is wearing a wedding dress staring at the ML for the last 20 seconds of the trailer and again in a fast forward montage at the start. But yeah Idk if the writer will pull the trigger on the marriage maybe she will elope with the ML, dip by herself, or maybe she'll do it who knows.

Someone had given me a heads up on what they knew a while ago, and not sure if 100% accurate but from what I remember it goes like this the ML pursues the FL, they date, ML's family business is in trouble(Guy ML tries to fight in trailer maybe part of it), ML breaks up with her, somewhere along the line the FL and her friend the 2ML get married for his visa or something? Not for love but they still take their marriage seriously so regardless they still have a real marriage together, then they divorce eventually and the ML and FL get back together at some point.

This drama is getting a drama adaptation??? This is the funniest cultivation manhua I've ever read so I'm really looking forward to this I hope they don't butcher it. I wonder if they'll stay faithful to the novel and make it a no romance story or deviate from it like the manhwa and just throw it in there.

How long does the "marriage to her friend" plot last out of the 94 chapters in the novel? I'm asking because if the engagement-marriage plot isn't dragged out and like 2-3 episodes instead of 10/28 I feel like it might be watchable, since I saw the plot is in show from trailers.

I was about to watch this but then remembered why I dropped it, because the FL, the MLs wife or fiancée was trying to go on blind dates in episode 10 or 11 lol.

What are you talking about? I never said I wanted him to wait another 7 years I said he would most likely wait another 7 years. Also that's insane, he should wait on her however long it takes for her to explicitly tell him it's over in person after abandoning him and him waiting for 6 months so far?? So his life is just on pause now for a girl that abandoned him? Please put your self in his shoes imagine dating a girl/guy for a while then they abandoned you for 6 months - 7 years will you wait for them to come back to repair the relationship and not move on with your life? Genuine question I'm curious about what you would personally do.

I personally don't think he would move on in seven years after all he did already wait for her for 7 years, and the second time he's been abandoned as you said he's already waited 6 months so I'm thinking he's willing to do it all over again. Also I'm not blaming her I'm blaming him at this point because why would you put your life on pause for potentially 14 years for a girl? I don't think you or most people would and I certainly wouldn't.
