That's exactly what I said? He's liked her the whole time that's why he didn't like anyone else. He liked her back in school, then she leaves and 7 years passes but he still likes her then she leaves again. But I'm saying he's willing to wait around another 7 years, I'm willing to even bet he would wait until he's in his mid 40's then maybe think about moving on.
So the FL abandoned the ML for the second time and the ML will again wait around however long it takes for her to come back for the second time? I'm not even blaming the FL because she has her reasons... I'm more upset about the ML that he's willing to wait another 7 years? How old would he be then waiting again? 32 years old wtf? I would rather he move on with his life and what happens happens, rather than potentially wait 14 years for a girl.
even squid game season 2 got 8.0 rating, when it clearly was above 8.5, if you actually know what a good show…
Yeah but something triggered people to downrate squid game season 2 though, it was downrated en masse because of the cliffhanger ending and how they are milking it by splitting one season that's already filmed into two and releasing it within the same year. But this show idk what happening with it, I just checked Douban and it is rated 5.5 there, where a rating of 7 - 8 or above is actually good.
7 is a pretty good rating on this site nowadays, esp with people mass downrating (on everything not just this)
I'm not so sure about that I just checked and this year there are 28 C/Kdrama's below an 8 in rating, and 26 C/Kdrama's 8 or above 8 in rating only accounting for dramas in 2025 though. 7.4 rating is definitely weird though I don't know if the show is trash, or it's trolls, or like I said maybe something in the show triggered people.
This drama was amazing and almost perfect with the only flaw being in episode 8 when the FL flirted with the old CEO trying to get with him then changed her mind about it. I'm still confused about what that was about, was it that because the ML was still fucking around playing games with her, she wanted to try something new? Or was she after his money and prestige? Liked him and lost interest in an episode? But yeah regardless of that it is still my 3rd favorite c drama this was a damn near masterpiece.
I think there's less than 5% chance of that happening romance is clearly not a main genre here, but you never know they might just surprise us with slight romance somewhere
Thank you for sharing this, so to sum it up it seems it was meant to be a symbolic element in the show “Since…
It will probably be similar and have a similar dynamic as Hot Stove League as it has a similar storyline/villain/character dynamics. The ML being an extremely competent professional is hired to save a company with riddled with 7 billion dollars debt and he's going around with his team composed of three people negotiating large scale corporate deals, and one of the villain's is an executive of the same company he's trying to save lol.

I haven't seen the auditors does it have a ruthless, calm, and composed main character? I see it has comedy as a genre though so I'm not sure about it.
I read a few chapters of the manhua a while ago and I'm thinking of watching this, I want to ask does the ML do anything in the show besides simp over the FL? Because I'm a little confused, he was brutally rejected by her before and she broke his heart then he waited like 7 years for her but regardless he just couldn't get over her then she came back and now he's simping for her again?

Same here, I hope for the exact same thing It's extremely rare to see a ruthless, calm, and composed main character like that in a serious business setting without comedy. The only Korean/Chinese Drama's with main characters like that are Lighter & Princess, Reborn Rich, Money Flower, and Rising with the Wind. But business drama's with pretty much 100% consistent characters like that throughout the entire show, I have only seen are the main characters in Hot Stove League, a drama called Peaky Blinders, Matador a classic and Denmark's greatest tv show, and an old show that's a little dark called Profit.

Thank you for sharing this, so to sum it up it seems it was meant to be a symbolic element in the show “Since he constantly negotiates with influential figures, I didn’t want him to come across as just a young man—he has to look equal to those around him. The original script described his silver hair as a visual device that makes it difficult to determine his exact age, which I thought was a nice idea.” was the directors reasoning behind the MLs grey hair. So the character dyed his hair grey to compensate for his young age and look equal to those around him, the influential figures he constantly negotiates with likely to be old/older men.
I'm currently watching a show about Spain's greatest monarchs Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon, but focused on Isabella, I'm recommending this because I think people that liked this show would also like this one. It features a woman who actually becomes a ruler and has more power than her husband who is also a ruler, it's also more historically accurate than this show and doesn't butcher the MLs character and portrays Ferdinand as the Political Genius that he was in real life in the show.
I was looking into details about this show because nothing is really known besides vague teasers, and it seems like it's going to be pretty similar to Hot Stove League extremely competent professional is hired to save a company with riddled with in debt, 7 billion dollars debt. A similar start and probably a similar ending too.
