I know I shouldn't question that (as it's the whole set up for the drama) but why Do Han is even interested in…
I think it's more about the fact he wants them to leave him alone? Like if he gets married to this random ass girl, his grandfather won't try to push the company on him and he'll be able to live his life. Cause even though he doesn't have a relationship with his family, they're still stalking him (the photo of him and his lover in NY). So I think it's just that he has a flawed perspective of the outcome and reason for this flawed marriage. And also i think he's sort of doing this having Jihan in mind because if he like completely cut everyone off, Jihan would lose the only true family member and Dohan would lose Jihan as well. Obv this is just my idea of the whole thing. :)
I'm seeing a lot of comments about Dohan being selfish... and I feel like a lot of people lack empathy or understanding of the situation. Is it selfish for Dohan to want to live his life the way he wants without having to worry about someone running after him and taking secret pictures of him and his lover? In most of the world, if people find out you're gay, it's quite literally an end to your social life, family life, and actual life. I just feel like quite a few of the people in these comments ignore how problematic it can be for a person to be gay. And it's quite obvious Dohan doesn't want the lifestyle Jihan wants for him, isn't it selfish to push your ambitions on someone else?
p.s. I am confused about Jihan in general. Maybe it's just me but if I decided to "seduce" my sister's bf, so she wouldn't marry him, I would have a distaste for the guy if he went along with my shit... but Jihan's just so into the whole thing. I feel like something is missing here.
i really like this but am I the only one put off by the pacing? I feel like we're getting none of the "wedding impossible" moments, instead we're getting kind of cheap romance, but i still like it. I giggled at few parts and laughed at some others, I just had a bit bigger expectations
I feel like the romance between Eungyeol and On Eunyu was quite useless and it felt weird after knowing a lot of the other stuff, but the rest of the drama's aspects were so amazing, such a good youth drama, cried my eyes out. truly.
i think it's quite obvious that the romance will be between Ahjung and Jihan since the older brother is gay...no?
I think they're just for once doing an actually strong not just quirky fl, that's why she's like that. Probably doing it so the enemies to lovers trope works
Kind of meh drama for me, not good but not bad. The last 4 episodes were fine enough, at least something was finally happening. If the drama had better pacing with the first episodes, so the 11-13 episodes could've mixed better with the rest of the storyline, the drama could've been pretty solid. Not mad at how it ended, though (and i knoooow this isn't based on the webtoon) the webtoon's ending felt a lot more satisfying for me than this one, but whatever. This drama had reaaaally great potential, definitely not worth 8.6 stars though.
When watching drama its seems crazy and dramatic but when i sit down and look back, it gives feeling of something…
Honestly, you put it perfectly "Bad characters are on their own way of self destruction ", cause at this point in the drama i legit don't see the need for Jiwon and Jihyuk cause everyone's just going wild without them anyway :D
My only major complaint about this drama is character development of both jiwon and jihyuk. They are still how…
it's actually quite interesting how, in my opinion, Jiwon was actually a lot braver at the start of the series than now! At least there was some shining moments in episode 14, but it really shouldn't have taken 14 episodes to see any development.
Yura presence in the drama is there to mess with MW and SM as clearly their marriage already cracking because…
honestly, i wish they would've set the seed of Yura earlier in the drama, so her coming up wasn't as big of a bomb, but it's fun to see those three villains just go crazy with each other.
the woman playing Yura is an extremely popular kpop idol BoA, she's been labeled the queen of Kpop, she looks…
And you're allowed to have your opinion, but it's so disgusting how you think it's okay to talk of someone's looks that way on the internet when anyone can see that, it's a real human being. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Episode 13 was really lackluster and boring, at least episode 14 showed some potential, really sad that they had to ruin the drama with how rash the writers were with episodes 10-13, I can see the potential of Yura, if there had been seeds of her planted in earlier episodes, she wouldn't be that bad of an addition, but now her character falls flat and I seriously can't figure out why would a rich, powerful woman like that start some type of affair with a loser like Minwhan. Anyway, my dislike for the plot and drama in general stays the same as it did after last week's nightmare, but at least we're progressing with something.
I strongly believe the drama would've benefited from following the plot of the webtoon and it was a lot smoother and more cohesive, and maybe it should've been 12 episodes, but we'll never know, so it really doesn't matter anymore, however, this drama should not be rated 8.7.
