I am on ep3 and the show is fun to watch but I still do not understand why in his situation, he made her situation…
I think it's just that he's dying, and he doesn't want to be alone during this whole "adventure." Since he really loves her, what is better than going on your last adventure with the person you love?
I think Haejun is leaving because he doesn't want his dad to suffer and get more sick, that's why. And he doesn't…
it's not about rationality, it's about emotion. His father would always feel like he failed him, at least that's what Hae Jun believes. Emotions are complicated.
I came here to ask the same question. also, do they skip the entire ten years and pick up from there?
I think they will skip the entire 10 years, maybe something added to show, what has happened in their lives briefly like a montage or smth, but clearly no one knows... we'll see when it happens :D
When is the time skip happening? I dunno why but I was under the assumption that it would happen so much sooner, is it gonna be at like episode 8, so half the drama is this and the other half is 10 years later?
I don't mind it either way, it's entertaining and after finishing No Gain, No Love I was worried I'd be left without a good drama to use as an escape from everyday life, but this is really good. It helps that HIY is my ultimate celebrity crush, hah.
there is this one commenter in this comment section that comes on here and just bitches and moans about everything.... stop hurting your mental health... hating this amount isn't healthy <3
i can't stand some of these people in the comments. some of you need to touch some grass and live a little. this…
p.s. women all over the world, no matter the society they have grown up in and lived in have sex. stop bitching and moaning about this drama's characters not being untouched virgins. Hey! Just so you know, they're 30 years old!

some of you need to touch some grass and live a little. this drama is so fun, doesn't take itself seriously and a lot of the stuff commenters bitch about are things that many people in Korean society want to change. People are sexual beings etc., going on about how "it's so westernized"... it's legit not. the romance aspect is still emotionally based and not physical.
anyways, some of y'all clearly have hate watching as a hobby, hope you can find something actually productive and fulfilling to do with your live!
I just think this is such a nice drama, the subtle ways it charms you is super admirable. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it definitely is mine! <3
I like my romcoms to have an emotional depth and though this storyline got quite dark, I think that it made for many heartwarming moments and proved what Love Next Door does best: how it makes you feel hopeful about life.
