I have been watching Korean drama and movies since 2012 and have learned a bit Korean. I have also watched Chinese…
I hear you. I've been watching Korean tv for about 15 years, and it can be distracting when the subtitles don't quite match. However, in this case, the subtitles match the English dubbing, so I'm pretty sure the changes were not completely without reason, but probably made to make the length of the sentences match lip-movements slightly better. I wouldn't say the translations were completely inaccurate (just somewhat paraphrased at times), but yeah, it's frustrating that Disney is apparently so desperate to save money that they couldn't hire someone to do proper subtitles, instead of just reusing their dubbing-script.

Damn…. Is it that bad…? I was excited for Jaewook’s new drama but the rating…….
I think a lot of people were turned off by a certain trope that appears at the end of ep. 2 (I won't spoil it). Even though I'm usually not a fan of this particular trope either, I like this spin on it, and I'm personally really enjoying this drama so far. I would recommend just watching the first few episodes and decide for yourself.

Telling the person they have a BPD might turn out the wrong way....as the person going through BP has an unstable…
I don't know enough about Korean laws to refute this, so I guess you might be right in the case of Korean treatment philosophy. And at least in dramas, I've noticed that family members and other guardians often seem to have free access to the patient's health information. However, this is not the case in the West. You would definitely tell a patient their diagnosis if they are given one, and you have a right to view your medical records, so legally your doctor can't keep anything like this from you. Also, once you're past the legal age, no one else has access to your health information (not even family), as it is protected by confidentiality laws.

I tried 8 eps to see why it's highly rated but I think I'm the only one who finds it boring...But then again slice…
I actually love slice of life dramas, but I have to agree with you on this one... I really tried to like it, but ended up dropping it at episode 10 because I felt like nothing ever really happened. I guess you have to be in the mood for something very slow-paced to enjoy this.
