It all started in earnest back in 2014 with Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and YouTube algorithms that, naturally or perhaps not, suggested watching Pride and Prejudice, the Korean show.  Thank you, YouTube, you got at least one thing right!

Before that was the year 2007, when I first tried to watch, curious person as I am, a couple of Korean dramas on arirang, available at that time on my cable TV. As were a few Chinese, Japanese, Hongkongese films here and there before and after 2007.

That's how my journey began.
