I actually enjoyed it. The fact that King always asked for consent is already a plus. I appreciate their...out there love scenes. James and Net's chemistry is extremely through the roof and just too sexy.
I like the fact that they touched pretty serious subjects and handled them rather well or as well as they could have.
A solid 10 for me regardless of some scenes that should not have been included.
The finale made up for the overly lackluster previous episodes. I liked that the ending was an open one. I heard that there would be a special episode and hopefully will tie the story to a close.
I liked the chemistry of Mig and Gun although Gun can sometimes over deliver his...err...expressiveness to the point where I have a hard time deciphering whether or not he's crying or laughing.
Other than that, I enjoyed it more than I was supposed to and at the very least, it was not draggy. It's your typical pass time BL. Not the best but certainly fairs better than Check Out (excluding Tee and Ice's storyline, of course) and that dreadful Love Syndrome.
This is one of the best of BLs of 2023 (no matter the country) along with Our Dating Sim. Just the right amount of drama and romance. I did not find myself constantly looking at my phone because the duration was just right and they had no unnecessary side characters that does not add to the story.
The chemistry of Kyoya and Kosuke is palpable and their acting is just great, nothing was over the top and nothing was underdelivered. Just right.
This is giving The Promise type of writing and it's not looking good.
If the entirety of episode 10 is made to make Tai an unlikeable character in a span of one episode, then the writer succeeded.
All I can say is that after this episode, they better be able to fix this maligned plot.
After episode 10, here's how I see the male leads thus far.
Phat -I feel terrible for him because of the way Tai treated him. I would honestly be happy if he stays single as the ending because I too, wouldn't want to be with a liar. He seems to genuinely love Tai and him going ballistic towards Lomfon is campy and iconique considering the jackass was kissing his boyfriend and deserved to get sense knocked into his peanut sized brain.
Tai- Gaslighter (The latest episode showed this), Liar, victim mentality. He was the one who did something wrong but he ended up making Phat feel like he was the one who did something bad. In a span of one episode, I hated his guts already. Indecisive. He better make it up to Patt because this thing was entirely his fault. He already has a boyfriend yet decided to hangout with another dude.
As for Tian, stay single hunty, you don't need that pile of garbage Lomfon.
I feel like Book acted pretty much like himself just x100 to portray Cher and I found it really cute. As far as Force is concerned, he portrayed a stoic, introverted character beautifully.
This was cute and can be watched just to pass the time, Rak is really cute and from the trailer I saw before watching EP 1 this will get somewhat NSFW.
Also, am I the only one who noticed the lump on the side of Peak's neck? (the actor who portrays Mek.) I hope it's just a swollen lymph node and that he had it check out already.
The acting is great, the story line is great I just wished that they condensed episodes to forty to fifty minute long once because the 1 hour and 30 minutes just felt a bit draggy.
This is one hot mess of a show. The toxicity, the abuse and many more. I never thought that anything would come close to tharn type's toxic story telling but lo and behold, this show was produced.
I feel bad to the lead actors. They tried to make chicken out of lemons but the story telling was just not it.
It honestly deserve the 8.8 rating. The acting is great and story line seems simple enough to digest, a great first episode.
Key Points:
Fourth's acting is quite a breath of fresh air. (His character is very Rain like (from Love In The Air without the dimwittedness of Rain.)
Gemini the look-a-like of SK Idol turned -actor Lee Junyoung, his portrayal also gives me the Noh Shinwoo vibe (and his story arc is quite the same, admiring someone from afar and hating on them when they are together.) His deadpan expression is pure gold and the way he tried to hide his smile is very cute.
An enjoyable episode.
Hopefully the quality of the story will be maintained through out the shows run.
The only reason I'm watching this terrible show is because of Prince and Gear. They are the saving grace of an otherwise unwatchable show. I'd watch a spin off show with just the two of them, honestly. Prince is very cute and Gear has this naïve charm that actually lightens a pretty annoying lead. (Looking at you Sher.) Hopefully, we can get a light hearted fluffy show free of toxicity for them in the near future.
As for the leads, Sher is honestly a very toxic character and I would not expect any character development as the show ends. Well maybe he'll get a confusing redemption arc in the last episode but it won't work.
I feel terrible for Fah because no one should be physically abused the way he did. Hopefully, the ending will be no endgame for both of them because it's just not realistic anymore.
I don't get the low rating here. Youtube is a whole different story though, it's basically raking 1 to 2 million views there as we speak with the latest episode now at almost 700k.
This is honestly a good BL with mix of fluff, romance, fantasy and surprisingly angst.
I do get the budget limitation hence, the short episodes but I do hope that this show helps matchbox and strongberry a lot because this company gave us all our first Korean BLs.
Other production companies should be alarmed when Strongberry and Matchbox hopefully starts churning out thirty minute episodes in their future releases...
Okay, here we go. The show was good, especially Rain and Phayu's story arc. The NC scenes were delicious and delivered arguably the best NC scene from any BL across different countries (Sorry KinnPorsche...)
The story arc for the first part was good and was well acted by Boss and Noeul. Although I was a bit let down by the ending of their story as it parlayed to Sky and Prapai's story. So I get the slight dip in ratings here.
Sky and Prapai's story however was a mixed bag. I feel like Peat was a miscast for this particular role because he does not radiate that naivety that Noeul has. His crying scenes felt forced and he just exudes this maturity coming from a twenty five year old...
The Sexual Assault scenes was terrible and should not have been shown. I really don't know why Mame likes including r*pe in her shows. (TharnType and Love By Chance.) It was triggering.
Also, Gun's voice is just way too angelic and soft sounding to be an antagonist. He could have been casted as either Sky or Prapai honestly.
I could get behind everything until literally the last 30 seconds. Wtf happened why is he back in 2022?!?! I see…
Basically, when the present day Jaewoo returned to 2007 and failed to save Jihoon, he went back to 2022 and moved on with his life while the young Jaewoo that was left behind in 2007 grew up. That's the Jaewoo we saw during the last few seconds of the show.
The cycle basically continues in an endless loop and the two leads are stuck in a loop between 2007 and 2022.
I say a genius plot.
We need season 2 to see if Jihoon will be saved in the long run.
The first few episodes were good but as the show progressed, the story took an instant nose dive and it won't be able to revive. Also, why does this keep getting extended? The show could have ended within 12 episodes.
Is this shoot to air meaning they are still filming today or is it already done with filming?
I just finished episode 10 and will be finishing everything by tomorrow. I will give it an 8 for now if I like the ending, I might change it to and 8.5.
I'll be very frank here. The pacing as I got to later episodes started to slow down and became very boring. Everything from the dialogue and scenes became bland and that's the writer's fault. I wish they could have spliced the show to thirty minutes with sixteen episode so that it can be easily watched without yawning in sight. Some scenes did not belong and some scenes a way too long.
As far as So and Mon are concerned, they chemistry is great and they looked really cute together (Every interaction of the two leads were great. Mon with his stoic almost hard exterior and So with his eye smile just melts me.)
I just wished that there were no love triangles because it's such a cliché already. Saint could have been just a friend and nothing more. Episode 10 were he was practically focused on just dragged on and on and So was just shown in like three minutes out of the sixty minute long ass boring segment.
Either way, this is much better than Oh! My Sunshine night that got extended for four more dreadful episodes.
I like the fact that they touched pretty serious subjects and handled them rather well or as well as they could have.
A solid 10 for me regardless of some scenes that should not have been included.

This show is just all kinds of love and light. I enjoyed this thoroughly and the chemistry of leads is just one of a kind.
The chemistry of Kyoya and Kosuke is palpable and their acting is just great, nothing was over the top and nothing was underdelivered. Just right.

How I miss Taekyung and Shinwoo!
It's miles better than Enchante.
I feel like Book acted pretty much like himself just x100 to portray Cher and I found it really cute. As far as Force is concerned, he portrayed a stoic, introverted character beautifully.
Here's to hoping for a Zo and Thi spin-off.

I'd rate EP 1-7 a solid 9.5
and then, 8 -13 a 7.5
Overall and 8.5 show.
