There is something about "quiet", depressing films that always makes them become my favorites, and this one instantly became one of them. It's beautiful in terms of cinematography and music. Really, I haven't heard such good music in a long time in a film. A lot of people would say that it's bland and too quiet but that's the whole point, in my opinion. It's raw and shows how awful life can be. Throughout the entire movie I was like "It can't possibly get any worse" and yet it somehow did, minute after minute. And it's just so sad and devastating, especially knowing the backstory behind this film. What struck me the most was the scene of the old man's monologue when he said that it was the same everywhere. I'm in that stage of life where I'm praying for better tomorrow wishing I could move out as soon as I can, and I can't bear the thought that it could be just as bad somewhere else
