This drama is ok, it’s a bit overrated. I dislike the MC, they are both a bit annoying to watch. Too many little…
Agreed, I just finished this and I definitely found myself skipping through a bunch of the latter half of the eps. I feel like they could've done this entire show in less than 15 eps and just written off Chuchu entirely. They kinda just slapped her on at the end just to prolong the show
sometimes watching a whole drama based on one single edit is the best choice ever, but sometimes it's just not.…
I feel like the show wasn't really supposed to stay focused on a plot. It felt a lot more like a sitcom drama where you could start watching at almost any episode and still enjoy it. The romance part was just fine to me but its not really a romance so that didn't bother me. It definitely leans more on the comedy side so I wasn't expecting a lot of lovey dovey moments or a power couple or something. The relationship was well suited to the humor of the show imo. I can also get why some may not enjoy this type of humor. If you like Korean comedies (not rom-coms) then I think you would enjoy it but if not, may seem very cringe.
I love this drama despite the plot holes and I think the writing staff missed the chance of using some of the…
You just said everything that I had in mind when I finished this drama. But did want to point out that it still made sense to me that Seon Jae committed suicide the second time since nothing had really changed at that point, Sol still couldn't walk, Seon Jae still had a crush on her and likely blamed himself for Sol's disability. The only thing that changed was that he had memories of a friendship with her, which probably made his situation worse since he had a brief glimmer of hope only to be swiftly crushed. There were definitely a lot of plot holes that could have easily been explained away if the writers hadn't forgotten about them. I feel like I went into the drama with higher hopes considering the amount of hype around it online. I think for someone that hasn't watched a shitload of dramas or didn't get swept up in the hype, this would be a stellar show. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it and think it was a great show, just maybe not top 10 drama worthy.
I really enjoyed this drama. I full on expected Vincenzo to take on the whole "fight for justice, but be nice about it" sort of route and I am so glad they didn't. Too many times have I gotten excited for a show from the POV of the villain or someone painted as somewhat evil, only to dilute their character and make them a goody-two-shoes hero. Justice cannot always be served in the form of legal punishments or forgiveness. Vincenzo was a cold-blooded murderer and he remained that way to the end, as he should. While there were of course some parts where the show lacked (dragging, mediocre humor), I thoroughly enjoyed watching it to the end.
Really wanted to like this but it just got so draggy in the middle and honestly, I wouldn't have forgiven the FL if it were me. Yea sure there were other things at play, but it took so freakin' long for her to stop lying to him. She had the chance to tell him way before but didn't. Overall, nice concept but the writing and plot progression really ruined it for me
Ok now I really have to finish the manga! Been taking my time since I wanted to buy all the volumes, but guess I'm gonna be broke for the next few months ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know a lot of people are saying this is a slow-paced drama, but it really isn't. If the pacing was any quicker, so many intricate plot details and characters wouldn't have seen the light of day. I could honestly see this story going for another 2 full seasons. I just hope that tvN sees the same potential and renews it for another season.
I don't think audiences care much/aware about acting quality this days. Meteor Garden 2018 got good amount of…
Agreed, for the most part, I don't mind subpar acting since everyone has to start somewhere. The cast has to be really bad for me to stop watching because of that, which thankfully has not happened too often.
I'm so sad for the workers of DramaFever. A lot of them were probably there for so long and maybe even from day 1, but their greedy company decided to just pull the rug from beneath them and make excuses. If I was an employee there, I would probably quit if I was able to. My heart goes out to them and hope those who were let go find another job soon with a better company and hope the other employees adjust well in their new departments.
This is EXACTLY why they did it.. to justify charging more as well as trying to force feed us content we canceled…
For me it's not even so much paying for stuff that I won't watch when I'm at least being given shows that I will watch. What bugs me is that there was absolutely NO warning. WarnerBros is a HUGE company. It wouldn't have been too hard to send a message to all accounts, or just put a banner on their website letting us know. This was beyond unprofessional and I refuse to pay for another subscription by them. I'll join the Viki squad if anything.
I really enjoyed this drama... the mix of romance and comedy was pretty good. I do not know what other drama I…
You should also watch Because This is My First Life. It has the same kinda vibe, maybe not as light-hearted as this one, but just as sweet. It has the same PD and the couple from BTIMFL actually made a cameo in this drama!
I really enjoyed this drama! A lot of people have problems with the ending, but I think it was well done considering how the story was set up. I do hope they release a second season or at least a special episode just to see how things go, but I would be fine without it as well. I didn't give the show a full 10/10 only because I felt that it dragged around the middle. The beginning was amazing but once they brought in one of the storylines, there were some scenes that I found hard to skip just because it felt so repetitive. Also, this may just be my pickiness, but there were parts where the CGI was just too cringey for me but overall, it was a good show and I encourage everyone to watch it!
Can you Hear My Heart is one of my favorite dramas of all times and I keep on wondering why people never talked…
Same! I always go back to it but I've never actually heard anyone talking about it outside forums or pages specifically for it. It really deserves more attention. Just talking about it makes me want to rewatch it again
Has anyone seen the original version of this? Rich Man Poor Woman?? The Japanese drama? Just curious people's…
Well I just started the show and didn't even know it was based on Rich Man Poor Woman. I watched a long time back but I remember loving it. Once I'm finished with this one, I'll tell you if it's good remake.
I prefer a drama do one thing well. SP did a lot of things in mediocre fashion. except Dong Ha. he's bloody brilliant.
Well of course everyone is different and enjoys different things, and I happened to find enjoyment in this drama, as mediocre as it was. I'm glad you shared your thoughts though, and definitely agree on Dong Ha. Probably the most entertaining parts of the drama
I really like the contract marriages and gender benders. The rest I'm ok with but some of them annoy me when I see them (esp. the tsundere/candy trope since it's so overused)
The romance part was just fine to me but its not really a romance so that didn't bother me. It definitely leans more on the comedy side so I wasn't expecting a lot of lovey dovey moments or a power couple or something. The relationship was well suited to the humor of the show imo.
