Agree. I also think JM words is romanticized by WH as we see from WH perspective and he is just a supportive teacher. His words were within boundaries and he did not try to cross it or being suggestive that WH should confess. Rather JM shows his support to WH by telling him to find confidence in himself and not be ashamed of liking a guy.
