Ok so apparently, in the novel, Yi and Kon Diao have been engaged since 18, but in the series, I didn't get that. Kon Diao and Yi's story in the series was really hard to follow for me, and by the end, there were still some mysteries and stuff that didn't make sense. I did watch ages ago, so I might have to rewatch it to make some sense of my memories.
I like the effort that was put in by the actors, but it's not that well written. It's really good if you want a light fluffy bl to watch, don't get too invested or try to think about it too deeply because you might end up disappointed.
Ok I watched this back when it aired and I've forgotten most of the plot. What happened between Kon Diao and Hia Yi again? I'm reading a translation for their novel and it's not matching up with my memories of the series.
He didn't force him. He didn't even say what Sky needed to do. Sky decided what that was, and it was clearly what…
I disagree. I read most of PaiSky's story in the novel so I might understand Sky more, but I don't think he didn't want to do it. If it parallels the book, Sky has a "it's just sex, why not?" attitude towards Prapai the first time they meet.
His actions and facial expressions didn't read angry either. Like Jpny01 said, Prapai didn't tell Sky to have sex with him, but that's what Sky basically offered. I also didn't see any breakdown, him calling him an asshole was (imo) because of his past trauma. And after that, him listening to the "how to forget about someone" podcast? That doesn't read as hate to me, that reads as he took an interest in him but wanted to forget. (Again, past trauma=afraid of love)
Thank you for writing this. Constructive criticism is important and should remain welcome in any discussion. Those…
I have never agreed more. For example, I had to be careful what criticism I wrote on VV because there came a point where I got tired of arguing with people over my views.
