On Woori the Virgin May 10, 2022
Title Woori the Virgin Spoiler
Woori The Virgin is totally a copy paste of the original Jane the Virgin drama/telenovela but with the k-drama flair. I loved the original so much, so am I upset over this? Nope, 1st episode and Sung Hoon plays Raphael perfectly, in fact I think all the actors are doing a great job. Just like the first time I was introduced to Jane's mother, Xiomara, I want to smack Woori's mother, O Eun-Ran. Also I thought Petra from the original was bad but Hong Ji-Yoon does a great job playing Lee Ma-Ri, a desperate woman trying to keep her gold digging claws into her husband. I loved seeing some familiar faces as well the fact that Lee Do-Yeon is playing a character that is not super over the top, love it and her hair! Can't wait for episode 2 because I am totally hooked. Two of my favorite things came together Jane The Virgin and k-drama.

u purchase movies when they're on netflix?
Ah, I see. What you assumed my husband asked was correct, 😆. When I ordered the candy from Amazon (at that time) it didn't come in the pop-out packaging (looks like it is available now). Instead they were individually wrapped and then shipped in a 28oz plastic jar. I thoroughly enjoy them and have one any time I want coffee but I'm not able to get it. Not sure if they really act like actual coffee because I'm perpetually tired but the taste is pretty good. I also got a small pack of the cappuccino flavored ones, they didn't last long. You can get a small pack of both on Amazon and if for some reason you don't like them just give them to your friends.

If you are trying to say that I could just buy it then I wouldn't have to just watch it on Netflix... I don't rewatch Dramas or movies. I have too many on my lists to watch so once its done i move on. Also it may be a while but eventually this along with other dramas and movies will get taken down that's just how Netflix works. For now I'm not planning on buying any of the "tools" but who knows what the future holds.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Netflix is a monthly subscription service so it is more like a rental until Netflix takes it down. 🙂

Chose to watch this over watching 2 episodes of "All of Us Are Dead" with my husband tonight. He was concerned and questioned why we were watching this. By the end we agreed that it was very informative. He asked me if I was going to order that stuff online and when I said I wasn't just because we watched a movie about it he then proceeded to show me the giant jar of Kopiko candies that I purchased after watching Vincenzo. My reply to him was silence.
Seriously though I really did like this movie. When I first heard about it I had thought it was going to be a drama and had questions about how it would work with all the restrictions they put on dramas they definitely wouldn't have been able to show half the things that the movie showed. So when I found out it was a movie this made a ton more sense. Jun, he played a broken man well. He made me laugh, cringe, at times blush and really feel for him throughout the whole movie. Seohyun, such a strong female, her growth drive to learn and try new things throughout was very admirable. Not only did I love the main leads but even the extras were worth listening too as well especially during the lunch at the Arboretum, that couple had me cracking up and made the whole scene even better.
I definitely would recommend this movie but not to those that get shy easily. If you think all Korean movies are as soft and fluffy as a lot of the Kdramas and you don't want your world to shatter... this movie probably isn't for you. It was surprisingly still pretty wholesome even with those super spicy scenes, so maybe you should give it a shot and try something new.

Wow the child actors did amazing! 1 episode in and I was hooked within the first 10 minutes. This drama or at least the first episode was intense. So very nicely done. I hope it continues like this through out each episode since most of us have been waiting a bit for this drama to air. Can't wait to watch the next episode 🥰🥰🥰

*Have not watched or heard of Doctor Foster*
First thought after the first episode is that it was very similar to VIP *ie cheating husband but your shown four possible canidates on who the mistress could be (which i absolutely loved VIP)... but that was all blown away by the ending! Holy smokes, I'm kind of hoping for this to be a revenge drama and that Ji Sun Woo finds someone else to show him that he has screwed up. At the very least she needs to divorce him, get alimony, and move far away with her son and a new man. It would also be nice to figure out a way to screw over her so called friends as well... then I'd be satisfied. Totally team Jin Sun Woo (if you couldn't guess).

Why isn't Lee Wan in anything recent? *sigh* would love to see him in something soon.
I really enjoyed this drama and remembered towards the end that not all dramas have rainbow and sunshine endings... might have cried a bit.

Title Hirugao Spoiler
From what I can infer at the ending.... Their 'son' seemed to have found the ring and gave it to the little girl…
I agree 100%. I do like how they gave the little girl the same hat as Sawa though just to keep you guessing. I've watched so many asian dramas in the last 5 years and know that there isn't always a happy ending... but even through the tears i shed i was 100% satisfied with this ending. I also loved the Korean version which was the first one I saw. It was interesting to see the similarities and the differences in both of the dramas. Now off to watch something else
