I do not agree, the guard is a murderer and her father has cheated lord and his business. It's a great deal that he is not putting HQ behind the bars for her crime. Furthermore,he asked HQ to accept her family fault voluntarily so that he can protect her and reduce the sentence of her father.

HQ is not herself saint and lord knows it. She herself first striked the deal to release her guard and she will let go of her brothers case like really. Her brothers death culprit are that unimportant compared to guard. Lord did bad but compared to HQ, Mu yao, ZYL, he is still a saint.

I see most of the people here is criticizing ZXW but in reality it is HQ who is too dumb to realise who can truly save her and her family from the tragedy.lord is a business man, head of the family and a competitive person, he has his own way of doing things.and yes i agree he did some mischiefs but who didn't in this series esp HQ. I think at this point HQ and her family should pay for their misdeeds.
