The biggest twist—Jun-seo is the one who exposes Ah-jin at the end
I hope so. She needs to be humbled by those she trusts most

I’m curious if I should give this drama a try. Before I start I need to know does she ever love him? Or is it only him who loves her for the entirety of the drama? Does she ever return his feelings?

1/10 !! Worst drama of the year. Waste of time. Seo in guk deserved a better come back than this sh*t. Started…
Also felt zero chemistry, between the leads. Yes they had some “steamy” kisses but it felt forced and just not passionate at all.

. Two people who for no reason take years and years to be together. Except in this film Suda’s character was always completely down and ready to be with her, it was Nana’s character that made him wait years. Poor guy even got married in between to another lady, became a widow and a father. A MESS!!! 0/10. Do not recommend. Nana and Suda barely even had scenes together. I think they were only on screen together three times. When they reunite for a brief moment, when he runs into her and takes her to see her mom and the ending scene when they just decide to get married after not seeing each other for years again. What a waste of time

This movie literally was gut reaching. I don’t think I’ve seen a movie this sad in so long. I wanted to strangle Birdy and hug Jia Hae. But honestly my heart just ached for both of them. They both felt the same thing for each other but reacted in complete different matters. Jin Hae wanted to dive in head first with love and passion for Birdy. And Birdy wanted to suppress it. This movie is based in the late 80s and being gay at that time in Taiwan was basically criminal. You could not just simply love who you wanted to love. There was so much stigma and hate around gayness. I mean the stigmas still exist today, but we have come a long way.

Birdy really did love Jin Hae because as he suppressed his love and desires, by getting a girlfriend and trying to live a normal life. He wanted the same for Jin Hae, he tried to pair Jin Hae with a girl , not because he didn’t love him but BECAUSE HE LOVED HIM. He didn’t want Jin Hae to suffer the oppression and criminality that came with being queer. He wanted to protect Jin Hae from all of that. Fuck I’m crying again. What type of selfless love.

But Jin Hae wanted to fight that oppression. He was fully ready and prepared to take on the hate of this cruel world just to feel love from Bridy. I hate that they lost so many years together but it was realistic. The movie was truly one of kind. A freakin gem as heart broken as it made me feel —I’m so happy to have watched—I haven’t been able to add a movie to my favourite movie list in several years, and now because of this movie I can do that

I have a good feeling for a cliffhanger here...
This is why I am against Netflix producing dramas.* Deep sigh*

This definitely needs a second season. It's too short. I want more!
Only 2 episodes are out on Netflix. Where did you complete it?

Rating this drama one star. Waste of time . The only good thing in here was Kim Seon ho. Happy to have been introduced to him but other than that. A big F U to this drama and it’s writers. They should be banned from ever being allowed to write anything again
