They have to get married long before the series ends because in the book SML only finds out about FL's true identity after she is married. But you know see c-drama, chances are all of it will be crammed in the last two episodes. Of course the drama will change some things and cut out some stuff since it's only 40 episodes.

This "one episode a day" stuff is giving me withdrawal symptoms. So I wanted to read the novel in between episodes to make the wait a little easier. But then I got their crazy marriage and I just couldn't put it down.

This! People who think CHINA will film incest and child marriages don't know that country. In April they took down online dramas for depicting negative family dynamics. Palace harem dramas were banned for a few months after Story of Yanxi Palace came out. Actors are taken off tv for drugs, not paying tax, cheating, etc. They covered up Fan Bing Bing's cleavage in empress of China for crying out loud. If this drama was bad it would never have been allowed to air.

Anyone else love that the ML is soft spoken, my last drama was Story of Kunning Palace and Xie Wei was so loud and aggressive which was hot, but this quiet but assertive voice is doing it for me.

I can't stop watching this. Some parts are so ridiculous but I love this drama so much. Madam Lin is the final boss! Her husband needs to be castrated, grandma needs to stop falling ill every two minutes and Yinning has to get a life outside of taking care of grandma. The concubine and her spawn need to GO!

No matter how good something is you will always have those who want to nitpick. Please rest and let us enjoy something other than Thai BLs for a change.

I loved it so much! Great is a GREAT actor, phenomenal and played up the occasional brattiness so well. Great and Inn's chemistry is unbelievable. I need GMM to keep them on a filming set all year long. I'm happy everyone got a happy ending (except Dr Terrible) including Golf who is somewhere on Tinder having the time of her life.
