Bruh, I saw the reviews and I ran to binge watch this. Am I missing something? I don’t get the hype at all. If anything, I lowkey disliked it.
Admittedly, I read the manga before and I remembered not liking it at all. Maybe I should have taken that as my first red flag. I thought Jin was stalkerish and rapey in the manga. However, when I watched this he didn’t really give off that vibe, for which I am eternally grateful. It’s one of the few positive things I have to say.
At first I thought this was just kind of mid but then the drama got insanely melodramatic and annoying. Like god y’all are constantly getting into tiffs and the majority of it is annoying misunderstandings and bad communication. And don’t even get me started on the number of sexual assault/almost rape scenes. It’s like all of my least favorite types of drama and I’m a drama loving bitch.
The acting was honestly pretty good, too bad it was wasted on this dog shit script 😭
I was excited to watch this based on what people were saying and I’m insanely disappointed. People are saying it’s the best BL of the year? Then 2025 is a disappointing year.
