have you tried watching one JCW's dramas "Empress Ki" and "Healer" his best dramas in my opinion. Especially Empress…
Thank you haha. Amazingly, your comment is very timely, because one of my resolutions for 2023 on my MDL page is to start or finish Ji Chang Wook's dramas, his performance in If You Wish Upon Me was so amazing. So this year I will try to watch his dramas without any preconceived notions.
Some storylines should come with a "don't do this in your everyday life" disclaimer, sometimes.Maybe I'm not very…
A doctor tells you that you are pregnant and refers you to gynaecology, but instead of taking care of your own health, your first thought is what?
Go home and wait for your man to come back so you can go back to the hospital and confirm what a doctor has already confirmed and referred you to gynaecology for?
πππππ Part 1 and Part 2 gave me different feelings. Part 1 made my blood pump, part 2 just made my tears run.
*The Black-Armoured Guards need a spin-off. *Leo Wu's eyebrows, actually most of the Black-Armoured Guards' eyebrows were amazing. (yes, I pay attention to wardrobe and make-up). *Emperor Wen π
Just finished part 1, I came here to comment that I almost gave up around episode 4/5 because of the slow pacing and family drama, but I was glad I didn't.
I'm not one for costume dramas, but it took me 3 days to finish part 1. There are tedious plots throughout, yes, but the good outweighs the bad in my opinion.
The biggest issue with this series was the direction, it was supposed to be a time travel story, but ended up being about the chairmanship of the company.
Enjoyed the second coupleπ, but as for the first couple? Lord π. Sean needs more acting lessons, I don't mind overacting, but he was just plain bad, it was even more noticeable when he was next to better actors.
Seeing the bar from "My Tooth Your Love" made me even more aware of how awful this was.
The best thing about this drama was that I discovered Chen Xiao, what a physically appealing specimen. π€©ππ₯°

I did suspect that I might be the one missing the romantic point.

The logic here lost me in the bushes.π€―
Maybe I'm not very romantic, but..;π
Tian is a good actress, for a relatively new actress she embodied the role. I can't judge Bai, I'm too biased.
How cold was the area they were filming in? There was fog breath from the beginning to the end. π₯Ά
OST - South Wind π
Just a simple story with great actors will do. πππ

Make of this what you will thoughπ¬...
1. Is it a happy ending for everyone?
2. Is the GMMTV version censored? (are there any cut scenes?)
Thank you.
It's not a masterpiece, far from it, but I was entertained. ππ
