I would rather re-watch from the 2000s - 2020s where the camera quality is so shitty but at least the acting, the plot, the characters, the storyling, the character development, holds the audience in.

OMGGG same, I haven't even finished 1 episode and I can't even stand her character, no hate to Esthuer but the script is not doing her character justice, I hate how they scripted her lines, especially hate how she "thinks"

OMG!!!!! I love Chai biyun and in my heart, she's definitely main role for Border Town Prodigal, like I couldn't survive 1 episode without her presence and it was so sad at the end!!!! I'm so glad I clicked onto Border Town Prodigal ep 1 and that's how found about To Be With You - one of my favourite modern dramas of all time!!!!!!
And that's also the reason why I'm dropping so many of the newer modern dramas - because of this masterpiece - truly set the bar high for me!!!!!
