Yes, the female lead does stab him and that's the scene where her hair turns white. If her ML didn't come close to her and feed her the anti-toxin, her hair won't just be white and that's it And plus, a plot-twist, it was not supposed to be her cause the Second ML fell in love with her and his comrade (Hen Xiang) was supposed to be the one that is going to get poisined and hallucinating and in pain. The mother hates the FL cause she is just using her to get to her plot and schemes of wrecking the Zhong Zheng family, causes that's the reason why she's so fire and angry and grumpy all the time, the Emperor betrayed her, man this is one of the best Chinese Dramas I've ever watched, like literally, I'm literally obsessed about the FL's style, character and smile, I also love the plot and the ending as well, though it's too tragic. And for your question, I don't know if this is targeting cause her main target is the Royal Family and the FL is just a tool for her to disrupt the brothers harmony and the family too so.................. it all depends on your understanding! Trust me I've watched this drama for more than 6 times, and because of this ending, I don't mind starting all over again, but don't watch the ending yet, you need to watch the rest of the story first, then you'll understand.
