I’m confused by episode one. Tin and Can don’t know each other, but Ae and Pete have already broken up? What’s going on here? Are they redoing the whole Tin Can storyline just to flesh out the series because they can’t continue the AePeate story? Thai TV shows are such a beautiful mess. Ha. Still going to watch it...
I'm on ep. 9 and I really hope that Type will change his attitude towards Tharn. Unfortunately, Type is an abusive…
Type’s character definitely goes on a rough journey. The abusive stuff is definitely a deal breaker in a real life situation, but here I think it’s just to increase the contrast of his change over time. Not justifying it, but these series are so hyperbolic and overly dramatic. Everything is played so over the top.
Just saw that LineTV has an app available on iOS in the US. Pretty much all the BL series are on the app. Subtitles are the best I’ve seen for most of these shows. No more digging through YouTube for legit videos.
Not sure why so many are trashing this series. All the BL series are full of cliches, questionable plots, and unrealistic portrayals of sexuality. This show had a fun cast, lighthearted storyline, and great music. It always puts a smile on my face.
Not going to lie, not completely hyped for this. As much as I like Ohm, GMMTV BL have not been as amazing after…
Rewatched Theory of Love and had forgotten how good it was. Really kicks you around emotionally. All these shows paint a picture of Thailand being surprisingly progressive or horrifyingly repressed. Can’t even imagine these shows getting made in the US. Ok, I’m rambling.
Curious what other series are coming out, I need my fix.
This show has been a mess since the first episode. Weirdly amateur production. Each episode is sloppier than the last. Still, I like the characters. Not enough Zon and Saifah to make these last couple episodes worth it. The pandemic is really ruining what could have been a great series.
Why is the production of this show such a mess? Bad or poorly synced subtitles. Audio sync problems. Weird black screens randomly show up between edits. Driving me nuts. More Zon and Saifah would make it more tolerable...
After the intensity of TharnType and the emotional rollercoaster of Until We Meet Again, it’s nice to have something a bit sillier and sweeter. Good pacing so far. It’s also nice having good subtitles.
After trying to watch Why R U? series the last couple weeks I’ve given up. Can’t get through a single episode. It’s just bad. Poor subtitles aren’t helping, either. ‘Cause You’re My Boy has so much more heart, even if it doesn’t have the same level of production value. Drake and Frank are so good in this. So yeah, third time watching this show. Catchy theme song, too.
Good series that I hope doesn’t get ignored.
