after few episode the thinking voice will be female too. also there isn't much romance.

but the acting was great right, its like she really have 2 personalities.

biggest problem with this drama is that FL is kinda dumb by giving ML restrictions. he can help everyone & save everyone in 1 episode if she allowed him to. 🫣 but they decide to make unnecessary much drama out of small issues.

i mean there is 0 kisses only 1 kiss at episode 1 when ML play a underage teenager. the rest of the show isn't much romance. but the tag of this kdrama is romance.

About 14 episode nothing the king not even love the queen but another princess. and the queen act like an lesbian flirting with all the slaves and female maids. she even goes to a female brothel. but eventually near the end they do fall in love and the chef soul leaves the body.

king attitude changes around ep12-13

the queen is a woman the first few episodes you hear male voice when she is thinking but eventually that will change in woman voice. there isn't really much romance because the Queen doesn't want to be touched by the king. so they have a "No touch" agreement. but eventually they do touch but this is off screen. there are no gay moments, no boy kiss boy.

it's more like the spirit of the chef from the modern age is traped in the body of the queen, but eventually the spirit will get kicked out by the queen again.

my first historical kdrama because i thought i'll never like it.
wow am so wrong i was hooked since ep1. 10/10.

production, costume quality, story were all great.
will definitely rewatch this in a couple of years.

i liked it a lot, but i wish that the ending was a bit longer. would love to see kim & lee together having some fun after she webt through hell 3 months.

8.4 is kinda low too, webtoon cult members kept i low it should be a 9.

because the ending, they make ML a totally scumbag. that really ruined the show.
