Like right now yichen is the great demon(cuz he have energy of bingyi, ling long and lilun) and the oath taker of wilderness so technically he should be the vessel but he also have cloud light sword which can never be tainted so we can be hopeful that he will not absorb malicious energy but then their is going to be another villain demon.
