In all of the series all li linhua wanted was to die as a hero and without making his family sad and miserable. So if it would have ended like the novel it would actually have a way worse ending and audience would have suffered even more. I heard they are making season 2 so there might be a hope for him to completely recover. Otherwise we are going to get go to mountain and sea which is very similar lets hope for the best. And also leave li lun alone.

I came here after watching fangs of fortune because it has kind of similar story where we know hero will die from first episode but it is still Hurting but after reading your comment i am feeling comforted. I recommend everyone to watch fangs of fortune. It is filmed from new and under rated actors but it is still such a heart warming story.

It is about a kid who run from home to be a detective, accidentally meet his uncle who also did kind of same thing but the uncle is now solving cases and kid won't let him alone. Uncle also have a sworn enemy who also won't let him alone. Overall the uncle just wants to be alone but everyone wont let him live peacefully. Fuckers keep on bothering him until he ultimately run away from them. I hope that help.

It is not bl or gay but it just shows friends who refuse to give up on others. But the story is not about bl. It is very nice mystery thriller story.

Yes i was also lost after mysterious lotus series and was unable to find this kind of banger but then I started watching fangs of fortune and now I am again feeling withdrawal syndrome 😭. You should also go from this pain please go watch fangs of fortune. Good luck🤞

I think chen duling acting was decent. I think even though she was weak character but her oral dialogues were epic specially with li lun. And to be honest i haven't seen alot od c drama with this intense sismance and i really think wen xiao was the reason sismance seem so effortless. I think chen duling is a very underrated actress. She got overshadowed by the writing here cause in first episode she showed such impressive martial art but in the ending its like she completely stopped thinking and just focus on crying. But i think she is the main reason everyone started to forgive demons, humans and themselves. She was everyone's emotional support. She was the glue binding everyone.

I am same too keep coming back to this drama. But also i saw a reel comparing zhou yichen to gong yuanzi and now I miss both characters so bad. This is my first time i an going to rewatch any drama (my journey to you) just to see gong brothers. The fact in both dramas he obsessed over his brother and aunt and his acting is so different then FOF is insane. He made me go through hate to love trope in real life.

Ugly cry before lunch. The deaths keep getting more and more intense as it progresses.
