Yes, i agree, a better way is to shot these kind of scenes in summer but it will stretch shooting. I remember sleuth of ming dynasty got filmed in extreme hot temperatures of summer and they have to wear 10-15 kg heavy winter gowns since the scenes were about winter. And tteotm devil costume was so heavy like look at the actor he barely weights 50 kg and had to wear 50 kg costume. They should totally put hot rods to warm water not sure why can't they do that i don't think that will be very expensive.

Actually even if they do the temperature gets so low that coming out of water for a split sec will make them shiver more so it is safer that way. Yes you can warm up tubs but big sets like lake or sea can't. I live in colder areas and i know how warm water in winters makes you lazy.
