i feel like 10 espisodes per story would have been better.. it's really hard to fit everything in 8 episodes, and it might even be a bit confusing for those who haven't read the novel (and i'm even more scared for arthit and dao's story which is longer than the others..) and fr i needed the exchange gifts part to be longer cz it was def one of my fav part in their novel lmaoo
episodes 1 and 2 take place before s1 (basically, in episodes 1 and 2 phoon still doesn't know ter, north and dao) then there’s a time jump, and episode 3 continues directly from s1 like, episodes 1 and 2 show us what happened between fah and phoon and explain why they were ignoring each other in s1 and episodes 3 to 8 are the continuation of s1, so at that point hill and ter / johan and north are already together (but i do not think they're married yet, i think they're just engaged)

maybe they'll explain later in the story tho (i forgot when they explained the reason of her death in the novel.. anyways) if i remember well phoon got into trouble at a bar, like a fight or smth, and fun was supposed to to go to him to pick him up.. except she got in a car accident on her way, and didn't survive it, so that's how she died

probably bc they’re all main couples in the books (each couple has their own story) that’s likely why they’re listed as main roles even if they didn’t have many scenes in s1
