To all Jihyun stans and Wonkyu haters, You're expecting Wonkyu to apologize for things he's not at fault for. He's not responsible for JH's emotions. I like JH but she's the only one in the house who acts out of jealousy and insecurity and hasn't self-reflected. I'm glad WK stopped the conversation and walked out when the full picture of JH actions and intentions became clear. Other times she'll railroad him with grievances that step over boundaries and he gets flustered, defensive and says the wrong things.

It's funny because JH feels judged by WK, but in the house like with WJ, JH and JY we see that he listens, is patient, thoughtful and not judgmental. But in actuality, JH judges and scrutinizes everything WK does. Nothing he says or does is the good enough, in fact it's personally offensive to her. No one else in the house has this sense of entitlement towards their ex and if from jealousy it rears it's ugly head they've reflected and apologized, like WJ.

Lol, girl Jihyun is not over Wonkyu's league apart from just being pretty and it's the opposite if anything. You're forgetting these two were dating to marry, so he is going to ensure their future is stable ( I have married female friends her age or younger who were even the one ensuring the future responsibilities and finances are stable) . Jihyun has severe insecurities and inferiority complex way even before she met Wonkyu ( she will still have this issue even in other relationship if she doesn't fix this herself). And callling a 32 years old man in his prime "old man" is seriously funny, lol, plus he is 5 yrs older not 10.

Looks like you're a Jihyun stan, so you're speaking from her POV, so you're victimizing her just like she is victimizing herself. Am going to speak objectively and also from a 3rd party POV, I understand her view, and I also understand his view. Don't forget these people were actually dating to marry. Like she confirmed during their convos, he was supporting her both financially and emotionally and was really invested in their future together, which he felt she wasn't serious about and other issues which they implied but didn't mention. The problem here was he didn't communicate these thoughts to her and it grew, turning into frustration. Now concerning the trip, don't forget she had a job exam around the corner and he told to focus on that interview and they will go another time. If she was just a gf, he didn't have a plan for, I don't think he would have been an issue or bother himself. Now on Jihyun, She is mostly resentful about the mode of their breakup, that is through a text( Kakao). This why I said their major problem is communication. They were actually talking their issue through a text, not in person, and she actually brought up the breakup statement, and he yes. So the fault can't be from one person alone.

I don't think it's even about high standards. He said he was ok whatever career she wanted to do, so long she sticks to it. Plus from their convo, it seems she didn't take the responsibilities of marriage serious like savings and future plannings because we get to know she was spending alot when they both agree to save. I think he has that mentality that partners should have or show equal investment in the marriage to some extent, in term of finance, emotional support, future plans but he wasn't seeing these things from her and they argued about it.

You keep mentioning she is young( age 25/26 yrs) like she is still a teenager or don't have direction yet when she was already making videos for their marriage right from the start. She is a complete woman. I known and I have seen younger korean women that are married with kids and are even the ones ensuring all these things listed are meant. It's not even about the age, Wonkyu may marry someone younger than her and still be okay. If he was just looking for a house wife, he probably won't have issues with her but he is not like that. There no need to blame ine person as they are not just compatible and have different temperament. They can only work if Wonkyu compromises and Jihyun fix her inferiority complex because that's something she developed way before she even met Wonkyu. And I think even if she dates SY ( the doctor catfish), she is still going to through it way worse compare to Wonkyu just based on how he broke up with HJ

Even though Wonkyu has his faults. Yihyun is the issue here. She has victim mentality, ego and also a gaslighter. You probably don't understand Korean. Watch the full episode with good English subtitle and you will under better. If it helps also, watch from a 3rd person POV!

To be frank, yeeun started showing serious interest in sangwon after she heard he was a doctor, lol. Plus I feel Sanghyeon will decide to give up on Bonhee and chase sohyun after their date whether it goes well or not

Just finished episode 6, and yes I was not really cool about what Sanghyun said concerning the age thing, other than than, he has stayed true to his feelings. Some people don't like the fact that he talked with Mujin and I disagree and to be frank Mujin really does not give space to Bonhee at all. And this doesn't give chances to the other interested males to approach her. Am very sure he would have still circled around Bonhee somehow if she was talking with other males, if Sanghyun didn't talk to him, lol. Even though the show is 9 days, that's still too much.


Plus Mujin seems like the Youngest male and he rarely talk to the other cast even the males anytime they are having discussions, gathering or just chatting. In the group date with the female catfish, he looked very lost. He is only active only with Bonhee. Even the timid Sanghyun is even more outspoken that most of the cast. There's is a reason why also all the women has him as their main or side interest.

To be honest nobody is red flag in that house

Of course Wonkyu obviously has lingering feelings but neither has he or Jihyun explicitly said they want to reunite. He asked for a date so they could talk about themself right after the phone call and ex room to know his feelings which himself said. Plus they are both on a dating show. He didn't even want to go shopping with her which was try to avoid as he wanted Yoosik to tag along.

Because he asked for a date from his ex, doesn't mean he has to cut all his connections when they are in a show to decide whether reunite transfers. She even used the date request to control and force him to collect the shirt from Jiyeon. If she doesn't want to reunite like you're saying, she should just tell him straight up and stop acting like his girlfriend or wife. I Personally feel she doing the same thing as him as she doesn't really have romantic feelings for the other men even if she flirts with them. Jiyeon is very smart and absolutely knows that Wonkyu still has lingering feelings for his ex and is not that into her, maybe a little but she will still continue to push.

Honestly, about Wonkyu, most of the cast are doing the same thing. Jihyun, for example, who expects 100% from Wonkyu but still opening flirts with the others and even Jiyeon herself, seeing how she wants Woojin to be 100% sure before deciding.

I personally don't think any of the other guys are better than him. Most of the guys are still finding their feet or are not even in the marriage phase yet. In terms of looks, that's objective. Jihyun has said in previous episodes she has a type and personality she goes for which is Wonkyu to a T. The new catfish guy might come close. If she chooses to reunite with him or not, thats her decision whether we like it or not.

My predictions are after the new trailer:

1. JY is talking to WK in the second scene. I base this on the fact that they're sitting on different furniture, JY is covered by a blanket (in WJ convo JY is sitting on a chair not the sofa) + it's WK's head (at least to my eyes). It also makes no sense for the PDs to include 2 scenes of JY speaking to the same person back-to-back in the preview.
2. As for the authoritative/ argumentative tone, she did use it on WK when he forgot about the rameyon + when they were discussing the T-shirt incident (especially when JY pointed out that it was WK who said: "I have something that will suit you very well." So it wasn't just her asking for it, he played along by suggesting an item himself)
3. The Japan date seems to solidify WK-JY as an onscreen couple. We'll have to see if it is genuine attraction-based or WK is, once again, offloading his frustration and hurt ego by JH. WK and JH did not go on the date she promised, they have the argument downstairs before Japan, they have another heated convo about their breakup after they arrive there + in the trailer JH seems to be angry w/ WK and says something of the sort: "You are in no position to cheer me on." If he's cheering her on, then he is moving ahead w/ JY.
4. Finally, we do get the scene of WJ teary-eyed, saying "How could you do that to me." He can't possibly be suffering if JY had said to him she wished she was the only girl on his mind. In fact, he would be ecstatic as she IS, for all effects and purposes, the only one. Developing romantic feelings for MK is not tantamount to him pursuing her at all costs, especially if JY leaves the door open for them to get back together.
5. So, to sum it all up, whatever their final choices, WK-JY will be going strong in Japan. We'll just have to wait and see if it is for the right reasons or not.

Which love-hate relationship? It was a neglect and emotionally draining relationship for her for 7 months out of 12. Thankfully she knows she deserve better and ain't budging. The quicker he move on, the better.

There's possibility it could be YY 2nd ex because of her couple ring and her couple story doesn't match Jaehyung story( he never talked about the ring which was suppose to be really important to them). The catfish ex( female catfish) will join them in Japan. It's obvious this season is all about the drama and am all for it.

The rankings you posted was last week's ranking and not resent, it changes every episode and week.they usually update it every weekend ( Sunday/monday)
and judging by the views that are being generated like last week( Wonkyu and Jihyun have the highest views and comments this week ), I predict Wonkyu, Jihyun and Yoosik will top this week as they are the most talked about in the Knetz world.
