Yes, I believe so (and according to the tracks available on Spotify so far). Park Eun Bin is apparently singing Mok Ha's parts in this drama. I think the younger version of Mok Ha in Episode 1, who did that first version of Dream Us, was not Eun Bin's voice (maybe the younger actress?) because her voice and Eun Bin's voice sounded different to me. But I could be wrong. Not sure if that answered your question?

That's a fair point! You might find her love triangles in I Can Hear Your Voice and While You Were Sleeping more to your liking, then. They are much subtler and more subdued; the 2MLs are still lovely but not given as much screentime or shown pining quite as much. Maybe they'll work better for you? Or not, haha. While You Were Sleeping is one of my favorite Kdramas of all time, so I promote it whenever I can. 😏 After finishing Episode 10 of this drama, I think I can say WYWS will still take the lead as my favorite drama, especially by this screenwriter, unless Episodes 11 and 12 knock things out of the park.

I will say I don't think this writer in particular writes love triangles to generate hype (I could be wrong, but she seems like too much of an artist for that), but she does embrace all the Kdrama tropes. She embraces the trope of the 2ML, embraces that he will have unrequited love, as per the formula, but writes him with his own character arc that riffs off of the FL and allows him to grow into a better version of himself and who becomes interesting in his own right, and doesn't just utilize him as a plot device (which is not something you usually see with 2MLs).

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about it; you mentioned in your post that it would have spoilers and also made it clear you were going to give a run down on the first five episodes (and it was not the first post starting a reply thread but near the middle), so anyone reading after those disclaimers should have known what they were getting into. Besides, you replied specifically to that person who had asked you for the spoilers, right? (Conscientious of you to apologize, though. 😏)

Are you the user who said they didn't like musicals/stories written around music and singing? Trying to remember. If it was you, I hope it ends up being to your liking. :) I think it's been lovely so far!

I was wondering if what happened is maybe some people who have been tracking the drama from the beginning (I think I can include myself in this, and I have been duly chastised) who have been frequenting this page since then who got past the "Who is Ki Ho?" buzz got kind of lax (some have been excellent about it since the beginning; I don't want to lump everyone together!) because many of us have already known that for two weeks. Because of that, some of us were moving on and discussing the story and characters based on current plot points and information already digested and made clear by earlier episodes, getting lazy with the spoiler tag and kind of forgetting that new people to the page picking up the drama as it gains momentum might want to discover some of these plot points like the rest of us did. However, there have been a handful of vigilant members on this thread the past few days who have helped remind everyone, so, hopefully it will get better? 🤷‍♀️ I'm happy to see the number of watchers increasing!

I also sometimes use the spoiler tag (like now) if I think I'm getting too verbose and will clutter up the thread since I write long posts. Not everyone will want to read them. 😂

Yes, Ki Ho is Bo Geol, played by Chae Jong Hyeop. :) Some of us were a little worried there for a bit, but it was confirmed in Episode 6.

I'm sorry if it felt that way. I didn't mean to make you feel cornered or invalidate your frustrations. I can agree that being spoiled when you didn't plan on it IS annoying. My apologies!

Yes, I get where you're coming from. I imagine I'll come around to the events of Episode 10 with time after processing it and rewatching it. 😭 And I also think/hope we'll see a change in Woo Hak. I think this was the crisis episode for him (and for everyone, honestly, which is why it was hard to watch), and it will hopefully be smooth sailing for MokGeolli here on out! 😅 Maybe instead of creating suspense in the preview which is what's typical, maybe they thought, "The audience will need a pick-me-up after this, let's give them a little surprise (an incentive to keep watching) and some hope for the end!"

But the person who responded (I'm referring to your response to BWMDL) did use a spoiler tag, and I'm not sure how were they supposed to know you were having a live reaction and not asking a genuine question? There are probably better platforms for live reactions than here, since I've observed this platform is usually used more for discussing the drama after watching the epispdes or getting recommendations based on people's overall impressions of episodes or the drama as a whole, not usually a space where people give their impressions scene by scene as they watch. I'm not saying you can't do that, but there are probably other places that are better suited for that kind of viewing so you can avoid spoilers and experience it with others at the same time. Just a thought!

I keep seeing stuff about guys being "green flags" and I kind of get what people mean by it, but I'm also still not 100% sure I know why people are saying this rather than, "These characters are such good, sweet, selfless people." I would love to become further enlightened by what people mean by the phrase and why it's become such a big deal as a descriptor. 😅

Yeah, hoping Episodes 11 and 12 will give us quick relief from the pain that is Episode 10. I agree that the "cut ties" situation, and the way it was handled, felt overly dramatic and in being overly dramatic, it felt unnecessary. Just temporarily distance yourself and keep in touch secretly, why turn it into this huge thing? 😩 I love this drama to pieces and am so into it, which is why this part bummed me out cause it's the first part I can't figure out why it had to happen. 😭

Yeah, I never come here unless I'm okay with being spoiled. It's easier to avoid spoilers if you wait until a drama is finished because then people usually just share what their impressions are of the drama as a whole after watching it in its entirety so there won't be as many details mentioned which is more likely in the comments while it is airing. I personally can still enjoy a drama even if I "know" what will happen because the way people explain it in a comment never does the scene justice, and sometimes I hate the suspense more. 😅 Anyway, now you know, I guess! 😏

Yes, he definitely is, 👍 but my understanding is that 2MLs are always placed second (for male actors) in the lineup of the cast list for a drama, and if it's a romantic drama, they never end up with the female lead. I can't think of any exceptions out of the 100+ dramas I've seen. I don't know why this is a rule in Kdramaland, but it is. 🤷‍♀️ Thankfully I don't ever get 2ML syndrome, so it hasn't been an issue for me. 😅
