Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
I have a feeling they might give an explanation and more backstory for the way Ki Ho's father is acting. In I Can Hear Your Voice the screenwriter made the villain very multi-layered, so I wonder if there's more to this villain's story, too? Why hasn't Bo Geol had his dad locked up before now? I feel like if he really wanted to, he could have. Did Bo Geol tell Woo Hak not to tell the police about the dad only out fear for his family or also to protect his father in some way? Obviously some tough experiences the father faced wouldn't make his behavior acceptable or in any way okay, but it might make him more than just a psycho domestic abuser, and might account for why Ki Ho/Bo Geol is not as vindictive towards him as I'd expect for all the hurt and pain he caused. I could be wrong, though!

Also, at this point the story seems heavily focused on Ki Ho, his family, and the mystery of Ki Ho's adult identity; I wonder how they will narrow the focus on Mok Ha and how Mok Ha, Ran Joo and Ki Ho's fates will continue to be intertwined since this is a story about Mok Ha, after all (and Ran Joo, really, too. The Castaway Diva title could 100% refer to her as well (though more metaphorically as the artist everyone "threw out"; someone insightfully pointed that out in the comments at one point), and she is even listed before Chae Jong Yeop which means these two women are front and center in the story).

I'm not sure about the father not recognizing that he has another son. When Woohak enters his house, you can see…
Why isn't anyone (Bo Geol included) worried about the father recognizing Woo Hak? He already met him when the father dropped off flowers for Mok Ha, but dad didn't even bat an eye. I thought that was weird. Maybe it's because the dad really has no idea his other son is still alive?

When Mokha sing at the wedding with Ranjoo...I low-key expected some one to ask about her or something but no…
Right? It might make me more nervous than the "Who is Ki Ho?" mystery. It's scary when movies or shows show old people in flashbacks... alone. Nope, nope, don't like it.

As we all know, the setting is in 2007 and 2022 (a 15-year time skip). Teen Mokha mentions that Ranjoo changed…
Why would the writer do that? Kill off the entire main cast 15 years later? Sorry, but this makes no sense. We're not watching Mr. Sunshine.

I think they're already showing Mok Ha picking up on the possibility that Bo Geol is Ki Ho as she gets to know…
@Candy241 I don't think you have to worry about that because Chae Jong Hyeop is listed as the ML in the cast list; the main question is just whether or not he's Ki Ho. ๐Ÿคจ

Why is Woo Hak's dad (not the psycho dad) afraid of him maturing? And why did Bo Geol look so solemn at that? Why…
That sounds reasonable!

You can't say the writer doesn't do a good job. I said it many times, I couldn't care less who's Ki-Ho is, but…
Yeah, she's kind of crushing it so far.

I'm getting really annoyed with the writer of this drama why drag ki ho identity if it's only 14 eps everything…
I think they're already showing Mok Ha picking up on the possibility that Bo Geol is Ki Ho as she gets to know him better. He warmed up to her a lot in this episode (after chewing her out for being reckless, he softened a lot), and she can see that he's on her side. Even if he's not Ki Ho, I think they're planting seeds for her to fall for him. She seems to see Woo Hak as a friend or even brother and an ally, but not as a love interest.

Me thinks that their father is convinced that he killed Woo Hak. It's why he's hanging onto Ki Ho so hard, because…
If that's true, then why have all their shoes and stuff ready for them to return? Is he just imagining it (as far as his knowledge goes)? He seems ready for all four to return, but weirdly obsessed only with finding Ki Ho. So strange!

Guys what's wrong with episode 5 ๐Ÿ˜‚
Lovely, but still maddeningly cryptic. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I think that, at this point, I would prefer this drama to end romance-less just with the Kang basically adopting…
The romance part hasn't really started; it's all set up right now, making us care about characters and showing us why they've come to care about each other and why they mean a lot to each other. I like that the romance hasn't begun because that means we'll have no dumb break up or separation at the end simply to fill episodes; it will most likely be all forward momentum throughout the story. It reminds me of the romance in Dr. Romantic 2, which was lovely. The romance was a main feature of the characters' arcs as characters, but not THE main feature of the entire drama.

You'd be deluding yourself if u think Bo Geol isn't Ki Ho. The sound track plays when he's there. All his activities…
The director/screenwriter are pointing to both to maintain the mystery. I have a gut feeling based on how these things usually go in Kdramas, but I think the writer is intentionally keeping it open, and I keep remembering Start-Up so whenever I'm tempted to think it's clear I remember that show and then just settle in to my puddle of confusion until they're ready to tell us... It's fantastic either way and I trust the writer to make it a beautiful ending regardless of my preferences.

Why is there an old lady Ran Joo?

Ki Ho's dad is officially a messed up psycho. Ack, I have so many questions and still no answers! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Alas, still no clarity on the mystery; we have more information now, but still no answers. *sigh* They are not ready to tell us yet. I'm not even sure if the next episode will, either. The preview didn't seem to have enough pointing to a big reveal. They might drag it out one more week, guys! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Despite the lack of development on the main mystery, this was another adorable episode with more lovely development for our characters. The duet was so sweet, and I'm glad she's getting to know Bo Geol better.

Other drama posters leave clues about the main couple, or sometimes the main couple get photoshoots or interviews,…
Well, from the cast list released (notice his placement above), Chae Jong Hyeop is the ML. Not sure if he's Ki Ho, but either way he will be endgame cause that's how Kdramas work. ๐Ÿ˜

The music accompaniment and final kiss with confession in the final scene at sunset is still one of the most romantic…
Agreed, it was pretty good!

the attempted rape hashtag?
Yeah, that part was completely unnecessary. They could have just turned it into them roughing her up and beating her up (like in the Korean and Thai versions) which is bad but not NEARLY as bad. And it makes it harder to like the ML for longer.
