@Laura5310 Yeah, Bo Geol is Ki Ho, confirmed by multiple sources, including himself. Woo Hak's memory included Ki Ho's voice because the two of them (Ki Ho and Chae Ho (this is Woo Hak's name pre-memory loss)) were hiding together in a closet when the father found them.

If I were a Korean looking to go into TV screenwriting, I would try to find some way to be her apprentice or whatever the proper term is ("screenwriter in training"? Maybe just an "intern" 🤣), as she's the best of the best and the only Korean writer I know of so far who writes dramas I consistently always like. Even if some are more likeable than others, I always enjoy them and they give me the feels while also making me ponder. 😅 I also just appreciate the tight writing, good characterization, strong pacing, twisty plot reveals and relationships she builds. Ah, she's definitely a master at the "Kdrama." I also appreciate the higher production paired with the good writing. Some of her earlier dramas were excellent but poorly filmed and because the production value was lower it took away from the experience a bit (e.g. Dream High, I Can Hear Your Voice, Pinnochio (I still can't get over how AWFUL Jong Suk's wig was for the young version of his character. 😬 I couldn't take him seriously in that role cause he looked he was wearing a wig for a Halloween costume or a middle school play 🤦‍♀️)). Ever since While You Were Sleeping we've been getting the higher production + good writing = masterpiece. 😏

Yes, there shouldn't be any filler, which is great! There's still plenty to resolve with enough time to do it, but not too much. :)

Yes, definitely, like she leaves open spaces for interpretation and then fills them in later so you can't make judgements too quickly about characters or situations since you don't always get the full story right away!

Episode 6 shows us the answer through flashbacks and implication but Episode 7 makes it explicit. Do you want more detail than that, or is that enough? I didn't want to spoil too much for you. 😏

Any doubts will be cleared by the end of Episode 7. Episode 6 makes it clear, but you can't miss who is who after 7.

Yeah, that's why he's not upset or confused by her crying and frustration. He's touched by her concern for him and has decided he doesn't want to hide that she's an important person to him anymore. Chae Jong Hyeop is killing his Bo Geol/Ki Ho role! I liked him In Unlock My Boss but he's just been so good in this.

Also, I realize now that the whole 2nd episode being about Woo Hak wasn't a misdirect necessarily, it was meant to help us get to know Woo Hak and learn to care about him, too. Cause the screenwriter knew once she brought Ki Ho back in no one would look back. This is childhood friends/lovers reunited in adulthood done right!

I think the father had no idea who Woo Hak was and didn't even consider he could be Chae Ho. But they have met face to face, because Woo Hak has a memory of meeting the flower guy and puts two and two together with the memory/flashback that returns with the same man's face. Both guys look quite different from their young selves.

Woo Hak is a really sweet guy and a compassionate soul. A little oblivious at times, but the sacrifice he made for his brother when they were young, and the way he tried to protect Bo Geol and be the peacemaker? All of that makes me pretty confident Woo Hak will be understanding once he processes everything. I'm sure it won't be easy at first, but he knows how much they mean to each other, and I think he'll be a gem about it. He'll get to be the big bro and work for Bo Geol's good, just like Bo Geol has done for him all this time while he was unaware of the situation.

While I do think Bo Geol's been grumpy about Mok Ha and Woo Hak, watching them get to have what he wanted to have with her, when they found her on the island, Bo Geol was more happy she was found than upset that his brother was the one hugging her. I think these dynamics show these brothers care for each other and Mok Ha, and they both want each others' (and Mok Ha's) best.

And I love that she totally called him on his bad acting of being Ki Ho deep down while pretending to be indifferent (she totally picked up on it and was like "Stop confusing me, dude!" ) and he eventually was like, "Yeah, what the heck; I can't do this anymore." 😭

Episode 7, folks. 👌👌👌 And the ending? 😍😭😍😭😍

Our screenwriter continues to deliver. I feel like she's reading our comments and playing Santa after reading our Christmas requests (SPOILERS-ish below):

-Who is Ki Ho? ✅
-I hope they don't draw out the "Who is Ki Ho?" plot for too long! ✅
-When will Ki Ho tell Mok Ha who he is? ✅
-Why was Bo Geol so prickly and indifferent towards Mok Ha? ✅
-I hope the ghost singing doesn't get dragged out! ✅
-I hope Ran Joo doesn't just use and manipulate Mok Ha for her own ends! ✅
-I hope we get Ki Ho's perspective after discovering Mok Ha... ✅
-I wish we could see Ki Ho's reaction the moment he found Mok Ha again. ✅ 😭😭😭 (I was grinning like mad)

P.S. This screenwriter/director needs to give filmmakers lessons on how to use flashbacks effectively so that the audience gets twice as moved at a scene than normal.

P.P.S. I LOVED the scene where they showed adult and young Ki Ho responding to a moment that made their "heart burst with happiness."

Based on what I see so far, I agree! A much more satisfying foundation laid for the characters' arcs and relationships with each other we can root for!

We haven't seen much of Mo Rae yet but what I've seen of her, she looks like she has a chip on her shoulder since she was the "second choice" and was ways treated as such by Ran Joo, so I sympathize with her (despite some her behavior) a bit more than I do with the CEO. But maybe we'll get more info on the CEO, too, though I'd rather have Mok Ha/Bo Geol scenes instead. 😋
