The writers created the characters and the story, not the actors.. It's not their fault if it's not well written tho ... For the actress, I saw her in few Kdramas and she was completely different... Sad to judge just with one drama bc of the writers :/
A lot of bad reviews but never gave up and now that i saw it till the end, I can say that i like it. A good cast and a good story even if the writting was quite sloppy sometimes... Some will say that Joy's acting is crap but I can see that she improved a lot and she's a rookie, please keep that in mind. In my opinion, she's not the best actress, okay, but she didn't ruin the drama at all, she conveyed well the caracteristics of her character through the drama even if I agree that out of the 4 protagonists, Tae Hee was not my favorite character. Talking about the protagonists .... Woo Do Hwan is incredibly talented, I can say that he can easily convey a lot of emotions and he's really immersed in his role. I'm a fan since mad dog and I support him for his future projects. Yeah, that's not the exact same story, that's not like the book I read but, the complexity of the characters is here, and i loved the chemistry btween the actors, how they portrayed the hard/ complicated relashionships through the eps ... This is a Kdrama so, yes there is some chichés but, i was not surprised tho since I was expecting these clichés... Same for the ending... The story would be great if it was a sad one but i'm not complaining about the happy ending, that's embracing the ideal of the writers... I still think a lot of people are a bit harsh about this drama... This is why i never read reviews and this is why i watch until the end a drama if i want to write a review... PLS refrain from writing a review when you 've just watched 1~5 episodes... In my point of view, that's not a complete review then ... (I'll stop here, in fact i have a lot to say and to comment about this drama - good and bad things - but it will be reeeeeeeally long tho).
Just one word : Disappoint How a drama with this cast/soundtrack/ kind of story can end like this ? The beginning was so interesting and the story so fresh... I loved the cast and was anticipating their chemistry... but I've gradually thought, through the episodes, that the story was going nowhere.... Some said they didn't like it from the beginning, i'm the opposite since i was hype until the two last episodes... But i cannot disagree anymore... I'm really upset by the storyline turning that way ... it's like the writers didn't know how to finish it quickly and wanted to do it in a kind of "originally" way. I'm so disappointed since i was anticipating this drama for almost a year ahah... i don't like to say that but i've kind of wasted my time on this.......
I hope the next drama Rae Won will choose will be better than this one.
