I usually loved dramas with romance and sometimes invest times in watching tear jerker k- dramas but this is something totally different from what I have mentioned (not something I would dare to watch). It's quite dark themed and heavily plotted which I haven't experienced yet in dramas. Since I only watched light and sweet dramas, this is very heavy to deal with and furthermore question my mental aptitude as if I'm involve in solving those mysterious crimes. I'm surprisingly moving along with the character's roles portrayed..... Unbelievable!!! I got goosebumps each episode (currently at 6 ep). Twist and turns , powerful suspence and mind-blowing thrills of this drama made me start loving this genre. Hoping that this drama blow my expectations and hope I get the best out of it. Fighting....!!!

I feel the same, a bit cringe to hear that typical cdrama baby girl voice and Xuan ji's dumb role at initial episodes but don't worry the story goes on improving as the episodes progresses. She's dumb in the beginning (which isn't her real identity) but there's strong reason and story to it. Her role (Xuan ji) was a perfect fit for her and no other actress could've done better than her. The lead chemistry is too (very) good. The sacrifice ...the romance...the story !! Excellent. Sadly, I can't find something as good like this till date. I even started watching Ashes of Love after this because of others recommendation but I can predict it's never going to be close to how good this drama had lived.
Please someone suggest me which is better between - Romance of tiger & roses AND Love & redemption ??? ✓Regardless of their genre differences. Since both are highly rated... But I never know how justified the positive ratings were. I don't want to regret for my decision like before (I won't mention the drama name, but, far from what was reviewed )"Time wasted". I need one drama between these two, which will be worthy of my time to be spent. ( Something that can ride my emotions along ).
Ashes of Love still to complete, I've lost interest to finish it.
