I don’t know what sort of expectations y'all have, but this drama is actually really good. No drawn-out scenes or unnecessary storylines. No rushed endings. Characters with a backstory. Of course, it’s mainly about the main characters’ story, but that’s only to be expected. I think it’s a real shame that this forum has been all about negativity for a while now. The drama might not be another ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’, but that doesn’t make it any less worthwhile. I really like this drama and can wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re looking for a story that offers a glimpse into the lives of people in rural areas. I think it’s a real shame that, at first glance, this drama seems to be getting nothing but negative reviews.
I saw her in deep affectionate eyes. Her acting is so good! It would be so great if she got leading roles. With her beauty, I think she would be perfect for historical dramas.
I know Korean culture and that Koreans have a high alcohol consumption, but in many Korean dramas they aren't drunk every episode. I didn't mean to criticize the drama with my previous comment directly and I know that without the high alcohol consumption the storyline wouldn't be like it is, but I just feel a little uncomfortable because of personal reasons when I see drunk people.
And why couldn't the drama be good, even if it isn't the same as the manwha?
