Not my usual fare but EXCELLENT
Watched this quite early in my kdrama journey because I didn't have access to many dramas with Lee Joon Gi and I was rather taken with his looks.
This is a Psychological Thriller with tons of mystery and a fairly substantial love story. Usually I steer clear by hundreds of miles away from this genre but I didn't know what it was about going in.
This grabs you by the scruff of the neck immediately and holds you like that all the way to the end.
The subject matter was dangerous and yet I couldn't let go. It felt like every reality came with more questions than answers. And it was Lee Joon Gi that did most of the work. And as a viewer I have NEVER felt so confused about a character. Was he trustworthy? Just how evil was he really?
This drama gave a real appreciation for why many ppl are addicted to the Psychological Thriller genre. I don't have the nerves to watch this kind of drama on a regular basis. But I could rewatch this one anytime.
