Reset is 15 episodes and THOG is 34 episodes. I felt that Reset was more plot-driven, while THOG was more character-driven. I don’t think Cheese Lin Zhaosheng knows about parallel worlds. Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng knows.
The reason why Cheese Lin Zhaosheng didn’t know about his daughter was that it was Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng in the Cheese World who went to see dying Cheese Qiu Yue.
My guesses:
First theory: Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng took newborn Cheese LZX to the orphanage and left her outside before returning. Cheese Lin Zhaosheng, no matter how smart he was, didn’t know what had happened because it was his first time being possessed by his Strawberry double. He found out that Qiu Yue had died, and assumed that the baby had also died.
Second theory: Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng took newborn Cheese LZX to the orphanage but then returned to the Strawberry World. His Cheese counterpart didn’t have a clue and also assumed that LZX died with Qiu Yue.
In both cases, this would explain why Cheese Lin Zhaosheng is so surprised to find out that he has a daughter. He just didn’t know that she was born.

Based on the preview of episode 33-34, Lin Zhaosheng jumped to the Cheese World just moments before Cheese Qiu Yue died and Lin Zhaosheng got her letter. Then he took Cheese Qiu Yue's letter back to the Strawberry World and buried it in the wall.
My guess is that Lin Zhaosheng solved the P=NP problem and that was the key to travelling between worlds, but he completely disregarded it due to the death of Qiu Yue. Cheese Pei Zhi also solved it and managed to travel, albeit voluntarily.

Pei Zhi was woken up by an alarm and was presumably possessed by Cheese Pei Zhi. He then went to Lin Zhaoxi’s home and left the photo there.
Cheese Pei Zhi already knew from the age of 12 about the existence of parallel worlds. However, Strawberry Pei Zhi only found out when Lin Zhaoxi told him about her travels.
Cheese Pei Zhi is way ahead of Strawberry Pei Zhi in understanding how parallel world travel works. The two incidents in his youth and his lack of mental illness gave him enough evidence to figure it out. Perhaps it’s related to solving P=NP?

He immediately leaves to buy excavating materials. Cheese Pei Zhi finds the letter in the wall and removes it. It only has one blood stain. I guess, Cheese Pei Zhi knows that the letter must be there because he witnessed Strawberry Pei Zhi and Lin Zhaoxi erasing the formula, which was in front of where the letter was hidden.
Cheese Pei Zhi asks Strawberry Lin Zhaoxi if she wants him to stay and cure her father's Alzheimer's. She chooses Strawberry Pei Zhi. In the final scene, Strawberry Lin Zhaoxi tells Pei Zhi to leave. If you want, think of Cheese PZ being in the final scene by the sea. Yes, there was that part about the stairs (which Strawberry PZ could have just told him) but the letter that he showed could have been from the Cheese World. Also, isn't the erasing of the blood stain only supposed to work for people from that world?
I felt that it was very anticlimactic after Zhang Shuping left the house.
Cheese Pei Zhi, with all his smarts, couldn't even see all the amazing things in his world.
I watched Reset and then immediately watched The Heart of Genius (THOG) afterwards.
Reset is 15 episodes and THOG is 34 episodes. I felt that Reset was more plot-driven, while THOG was more character-driven. THOG explores themes such as societal pressures, defying expectations, nature vs nurture, hard work, resilience, filial piety, facing one's fears, growing up, love, family, and friendship.
I was very satisfied by the ending.

I don’t think Cheese Lin Zhaosheng knows about parallel worlds. Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng knows.
The reason why Cheese Lin Zhaosheng didn’t know about his daughter was that it was Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng in the Cheese World who went to see dying Cheese Qiu Yue.
My guesses:
First theory: Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng took newborn Cheese LZX to the orphanage and left her outside before returning. Cheese Lin Zhaosheng, no matter how smart he was, didn’t know what had happened because it was his first time being possessed by his Strawberry double. He found out that Qiu Yue had died, and assumed that the baby had also died.
Second theory: Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng took newborn Cheese LZX to the orphanage but then returned to the Strawberry World. His Cheese counterpart didn’t have a clue and also assumed that LZX died with Qiu Yue.
In both cases, this would explain why Cheese Lin Zhaosheng is so surprised to find out that he has a daughter. He just didn’t know that she was born.
My guess is that Lin Zhaosheng solved the P=NP problem and that was the key to travelling between worlds, but he completely disregarded it due to the death of Qiu Yue. Cheese Pei Zhi also solved it and managed to travel, albeit voluntarily.
Lin Zhaosheng jumped to the Cheese World just moments before Cheese Qiu Yue died.
For some reason, Strawberry Lin Zhaosheng (in the Cheese World) decided that it was better for Cheese Lin Zhaoxi to become an orphan than to grow up with him. That’s probably based on his experience in the Strawberry World. Maybe he thought he wasn’t a good father?
Pei Zhi was woken up by an alarm and was presumably possessed by Cheese Pei Zhi. He then went to Lin Zhaoxi’s home and left the photo there.
Cheese Pei Zhi already knew from the age of 12 about the existence of parallel worlds. However, Strawberry Pei Zhi only found out when Lin Zhaoxi told him about her travels.
Cheese Pei Zhi is way ahead of Strawberry Pei Zhi in understanding how parallel world travel works. The two incidents in his youth and his lack of mental illness gave him enough evidence to figure it out. Perhaps it’s related to solving P=NP?
Didn't Pei Zhi throw away the receipt for the German classes into the bin before he collapsed on the ground? How did it end up in the laundry basket?
Based on the preview of episode 33-34, Lin Zhaosheng jumped to the Cheese World just moments before Cheese Qiu Yue died and Lin Zhaosheng got her letter. Then he took Cheese Qiu Yue's letter back to the Strawberry World and buried it in the wall.
How did Cheese Pei Zhi know about the existence of the letter? Why did Lin Zhaosheng bury it in the wall? How did Cheese Pei Zhi know that it was inside the wall? Is the letter a device to cross between worlds?
