I finally caught up with episode 17 and I was disappointed by how they deviated from the novel. The drama felt rushed for a 40-episode series, especially the development of the romance. I expected them to take their time like the novel did, but it seemed like the female lead easily moved on from her trauma and fell for someone she barely knew. I guess this is a common trope in Cdramas.
