I will never forget Shin Rin Ah's performance in this! She was just such an adorable munchkin and what a great actress at only 7 years of age. Very natural and appropriate, loved how she was protective of mum and suspicious of ahjussi initially and rightfully so....but when they started getting along oh my heart couldn take it...adorableness overload ❤️❤️❤️ The chemistry between the 3 leads was phenomenal!

I know the writers are just stringing me along with the promise of their marriage but I keep watching still...

Drama too juvenile and irritating I could not finish it. Too bad I like the leads but not here. Concur with other comments on the stupidity of the FL. Love at night was at least bearable.

Is there a rulebook in cdrama that says the ML has to be a perfect saint and FL the unreasonable one all the time??? The drama is really good, but this huge flaw is totally unfair on FL. I hear it'll get better but its so unfair its taking so many episodes to get there. I hope this torture will be worth something so I'll keep on watching for now.
I have to say though that Steven Zhang outdid himself in this one, what a great actor 👏
Finally finished it and I have to say it does get better! The script was excellent and quite mature, not many cdramas are like this. It also follows logic and I have say it seems very underrated and deserves more than 8.5

On ep 16 and just need to rant below

Ep 16 when she confesses to him was one of the most intimate scenes I've seen in c drama ❤️. She says that when it comes to him she doesn't want to look at him from afar , she is selfish...she wants to be able to get close to him, touch him and hug him🫂 dear Lord my 💙 😭🔥

When a show accomplishes what it sets out to do I cant help but give it a 10! Modern c dramas that are watchable without skipping or dropping altogether are really hard to come by, but this one left me wanting more. After Eternal love series I didnt think Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin's chemistry could be beaten but I was dead wrong. Steven gives 'Cheng Cheng' a run for his money imao! They're are indeed all excellent actors and will be on the lookout for their future projects (and past 😁).

Will never forget soundtrack for Empress Ki. Thank you for your awesome work 🙏 😊

I also need to clarify that I never responded to them in impolite manner at any given point. If anything you're the one doing just that. Also, dont call 'sweetie' its very rude. Bringing up valid arguments and disagreeing on them is not impolite.

And that should indicate that most ppl actually liked it despite the recent spate of comments hating it. And that is fact! Honestly if your only goal of watching this drama is only to find out who Yumi ends up with then I'm afraid you've missed the entire point of the show. And no doubt you'll end up disappointed as she's not meant to settle down yet. This show is about Yumi's internal thought processes which are so aptly depicted by the cells and done very intelligently btw. My fav scenes so far are the clubs formed by Yumi's cells, some are dying out as they've become unpopular because she has probably 'lost interest'. The secret Ba Bi club....made me lol that the guard cell is the president....in last season he was supposed to guard against Ba Bi if I remember correctly 😆.
When reason cell was basically 'comforting' the cells on the 🎤 when she thought that Ba Bi had gone back to his ex 😅.
Also when Hunger cell called upon Detective and Stingy cell to help her with ordering food 🤣
This is a brilliant show and you will not find anything like it in kdrama land!!!!!

What an absolute ride 👏. Well worth the watch. I try to watch a lot of cdramas but most tend to be too long and draggy for no reason with cliché plots. What an absolute nightmare the father was but what an awesome performance by the actor 👏 🙌. Loved the younger versions of Yi Cheng, took me a while to warm up to the older version. Loved the very realistic depiction of what a home that has lost a parent might look like....grew up witnessing similar due to homes losing parents to HIV pandemic in the 90s.

I absolutely loved this drama! Yes the cinematography was atrocious but it still manages to capture you and wont let you go....or was it Wallace Chung's charms 😁. One of the few war dramas where the cast dont die unnecessarily. I did not like how Bai Pingting was written as the only unreasonable one and yet they were meant to be on par...mentality wise. Dont worry though as it doesn't take anything away from the drama. Loved the combination of serious and absolute cheesiness 🥰. Loved the chemistry of the leads, always better when they're more mature than young idol types 😅. Loved the OSTs and the male candy splashed throughout the entire series....not forgetting our 'butter wouldn't melt' Princess yao tian. Imagine how great this would have been if it wasn't so low budget. Loved it all the same. Too many cdramas tend to be too looooong and end up slooow and draggggy.

Spot on! I said the same thing a few weeks back that this drama was just sad for being sad with no real or compelling reason to be. Like how can the writer create such a negative narrative for people who I could argue had a better life than most. Their household had both parents and kids all had jobs. Yeah jobs can be miserable but their 'misery' had a tinge of entitlement. Gu just drank all day and again, his reasons were not compelling enough to me. Ended up not watching the last 2 episodes because I was just bored.

I didnt even say this drama was that bad, if it was I would have stopped watching 😅. Stop writing long paragraphs trying to explain it its not that complicated. We all go through stuff in life.
