Descendants of the Sun, a masterpiece of a drama that left its mark on me
Descendants of the Sun is an excellent drama and one that gives me the most emotion throughout the drama. It's a pleasure that the drama took the risk of filming somewhere other than South Korea, in this case Greece and that the production team spent a month. And it's very successful since most of the drama takes place in Uruk to film the biggest scenes, between the fight scenes, the love stories and the spectacular earthquake!
Concerning the characters, the duo Si Jin and Mo Yeon, played by Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, is one of the biggest highlights of the drama. They are so close that they form the most glamorous couple, all drama combined. Other important points, the actor and actress Song Joong Ki and Song Kye Kyo are SENSATIONAL and they are one of my favorites as an actress then in the drama. The fact that Song Joong Ki has just returned from his military service also gives credibility to his character and the fight scenes. I also love the second couple duo, Dae Young and Yoon Myeong Ju, played by Jin Gu and Kim Ji Won. Otherwise, I also got attached to the other characters, namely Lee Chi Hun (Onew), Agus (David McInnis) and some guests who appear in only one episode, notably the group Red Velvet. In terms of the OST, I really liked “Talk Love”, “Fly With The Wind” and “Once Again”, which perfectly match the atmosphere of the drama. Everything you need to definitely love it! In short, it's an excellent drama that deserves its popularity around the world.
