Unfortunately the original novel also had zero character development and bad plot pacing, so we'll see.

Also does CalvinJay have audience interest? A lot of people just found their storyline weird since it didn't connect at all to the main storyline.

I want EVERYONE to watch this show. Everyone clowns GMMTV but truly miss the great work they do on their het shows.

I mean, DMD as a company got popular off of NC scenes and not due to good scripts or narrative. I think those of us who expected anything else were the fools (myself included).

Khemjira will be interesting because the novel had absolutely zero NC scenes. Wonder how DMD will handle that.

If you're not a fan of extreme toxicity and old school yaoi vibes, neither. But I'll recommend ABO Desire just for the sheer novelty of seeing proper omegaverse on screen lol.

None of ZNN's BLs have flopped, in fact the opposite. Also Zee has a pretty successful career outside BL as well which he's also stepping back from.

I think he's just done with the industry tbh. He's been talking about how he wants to step back and support Nunew as a musician for a while now.

Well good news for those who don't like them, their next series is 99% going to be their last so you don't have to suffer through them anymore.

Unfortunately sticking side couples will always happen, at least in DMD, because it's the easiest way to get multiple couples popular at the same time.

I believe if you give side couples tons of screentime, they'll get boring too. People mostly just like side couples because you see small glimpses of them, enough to keep you wanting more.

Great example is WinTeam. Everyone loved them in UWMA but when they got their own series, it was underwhelming.

I'd say Keng is their best actor rn. If you watched Paradise of Thorns you;ll know what I'm talking about.

Zee is much better in his het roles tbh

I just don't think ZNN is the type of couple to pull off this kind of show. They give me soft vibes and fit softer shows, just like I simply don't feel like a couple like MileApo can pull off something like Cutie Pie. Them and JesBible are better suited for grittier shows.

On the other hand, Hug-Eh-Lee is a MUCH better vehicle for ZNN since it plays into their strengths. I also know that's probably Zee's last full-fledged acting project before he steps back so I hope DMD pour everything into it for a proper farewell of sorts for ZeeNunew onscreen. They deserve that much.

Even though I'm no fan of them, the hate and vitriol thrown towards ZNN in this project is crazy to me. The show being bad is not their fault. In fact, TNP, with the side couples everyone loves so much, wouldn't have existed or even gotten the sponsors to begin filming without their big name backing the project up. They're the reason you're seeing JimmyOhm and/or NetJJ in these roles in the first place. Put some respect on their name.
