Tian Xi Wei and Deng Kai did such a fantastic job in this drama! I've watched so many of Deng Kai's dramas but this is the first time I'm noticing him. They've both outdone themselves here 😊💖💖

This also happened to Gong Jun's drama. His drama went from 8.5 to 7.9 Clearly a grp of trolls is bombing on both these actors

Have you read Rick Riordan books? He writes about Greek myths and one of the main characters in his book is a Muslim whose dad is a Greek god. Have you heard ANYONE complaint or criticise him or his work? People appreciate that he tried to be inclusive respectfully even if his depiction was inaccurate because in Islam there is only 1 god so the fl being daughter of a Greek god didn't make any sense. People still read his books and enjoy them. It's about inclusive, respectful and accurate descriptions that can make people hate a work or love it. Genie make a wish did the opposite

The fact that you think it's wikipedia and there were no verses used AND you think I'm spreading unfounded claims tells me you haven't read the Quran. I'll ask you this, which scene made people react this way? Are you aware of it? If you're not, it's the very first scene were genie was introducing himself. But it's in first language so how is it copying the verses from the Quran? It is the EXACT story of how Iblis came to be and just because it's in Korean or in first language doesn't change the fact that it was copied from Quran and it's verses. This was also NOT the only scene where they used Quran verses wrongly. There was a scene were genie bows to the reincarnated version of the fl. I'm not sure if that also made fans angry but they were uncomfortable.

i think the problem was that they used the origin story of the actual devil in Islam and copied Quran verses. Maybe if the verses weren't involved people wouldn't have hated it But they used the verses and changed the meaning of the verses to fit their story which caused the outrage

i guess different strokes for different folks because i thought the fighting was the best part of the drama and so was the acting. ngl the directing did feel odd for certain scenes i don't think fight scenes were on of them tho. but yeah different people like different things

i respectfully disagree. Production had it's flaws but it's definitely not as bad as you think it is and the OST was amazing!!! Cheng Yi had 3 very different roles and in my personal opinion he portrayed all three of the roles very well. His facial expressions body language everything was so different. They changed every time he played a different character in the drama. This drama's strongest point were it's fight scenes, acting and ost and i think all three of them were wonderfully done!
